Hello there. I hope this finds you well. To those of you on duty - watch this after your shift ends. Don't want any distracted officers on patrol.
I have just received a notification from the so called upper levels of our organization, that states costs must be cut.
No, no one is getting laid off. Instead, most of our Upholder bombers will be replaced with a cheaper Civilian model. Those already docked for repairs will never see space again. Those of you who reported issues with their craft, will have those replaced as soon as we have the new ships. The ones working perfectly(surprise) will have to fly a few more months. I know some of you are attached to your vessels, and as rumours suggest, go even as far as installing coffee machines in your Upholders, but this is a direct order, and will happen.
Those of you who need further training to operate these will receive private transmissions with instructions and scheduled dates for simulator training. Yes, you will still get paid while training. No bonuses though.
Those of you who have special equipment, i.e. cloaks installed, will have those successfully transferred to the new vessels as soon as possible.
The SWAT naming convention for the new vessels is: LPI-SWAT-Firstname.Lastname[W]
