Guten Tag...
Due to the recent increase of tensions between IMG, Kruger Minerals and Daumann in Omega 7, the Rheinland Federal Polizei has decided to monitor the situation far more closely. I have been asigned as the officer in charge of this case. From now on, all of your problems with eachother will be directed towards me, and I will be dealing with them accordingly. Now I will be setting down a few rules mein Herren:

1. There will be no hostile actions taken between any of you, whatever issue arrises, you are to contact me, and I will report the HC about the case...

2. If anyone is caught or reported as opening fire on a ship belonging to the other side, they will be dealt with acording to the Laws of the Republic of Rheinland...

3. All sides are to stick to your designated areas of operation...

4. Hiring any outside pilots/mercenary groups or such to harras the other side is not recomended...I repeat, the RFP and RM will be the ones responsible of resolving all this mess....

Now I hope we can all agree to this and get back to our normal duties...

I will be expecting an answer from the leaders of all 3 Companies on this frequency...

Sehr geehrter Herr Steiner,

Thank you for contacting the Independent Miners Guild about the Omega 7 issue. The Guild is looking forward to the constructive cooperation with you in order to keep the peace in Omega 7.

The Guild agrees to the articles you wrote down, we just need one slight amendment to Article 3.

The newly discovered jumphole connection to Omega 9 is in a location that could be considered DHC space. The IMG is using this hole, but of course the Guild will neither try to patrol DHC territory, nor mine the ressources there. The reason to be there will be quick and uneventful passage, nothing else.

The Guild would like to extend their gratitude to the Rheinland Federal Police for stepping up their efforts in Omega 7. I am sure that all parties inside O7 will benefit from the step.

Good luck in your new assignment, Detektiv Steiner.

First of all danke for a quick response....

Of course the IMG is allowed to travel through those areas. The restriction is aimed towards any sort of mining operations... You are free to use escort ships as well as long as they stick to their job and do not interfere with any operation Kruger or DHC might , at the moment of your passage, be conducting. They are allowed to assist against pirate attacks should anyone ask for help....

I hope this clarifies the matter enough...

Attention, this is Markus Schmarn, Inspekteur of the Rheinland Federal Polizei.

The recent messages just crossed mein desk and - to be honest - surprised me.

While it is true that Detective Steiner was tasked with overlooking the recent situation in Omega-7, it seems I have to...correct some issues that have lead to some misunderstanding.

The initial message from Detektiv Steiner and his setting up of...guide line is still to be seen as valid issues. It would be nice if every adressed company sticks to that. And the Rheinland laws of course.

Coming to the latter, I am afraid Herr Henderson, but Detektiv Steiner was not allowed to bargain any treaty that touches IMG's traveling permission through Rheinland law. As such, Detektiv's Steiners approval is to be seen as null and void.

The Rheinland Bundestag is still debating on how to treat the recent discovery of Omega-9 connection. Until ein final statement is conducted, the current laws are valid.

I apologize for this little inconvenience.

The Guild expresses its surprise about this surprising change in terms after they had been agreed on.

Nevertheless, the Guild is willing to comply for the moment in order to keep the process that was initiated by the efforts of Herrn Steiner alive. The Guild regards this initiative as an important step towards a political and economic stability of Omega 7.

A final statement about acceptance or rejection will be given once the Guild has discussed that change in the terms in the following days.
