Pecos, New Hope - Landing Pad 3
After a two hour shuttle flight from Sabah, Kara finally arrives at New Hope. She could've taken her own ship, but she wanted to enjoy a longer ride... perhaps even sleep a bit during that time.
She received a call about seven hours ago, from one of the newer members of the 49th, namely Evelyn Kairos. She didn't say much, just that she would've loved it if Kara payed her a visit here on Pecos, to discuss a few things.
Weapons training? Issues with a commanding officer? What could a 49th need from a 52nd? This question ran trough Kara's mind continuously, but either way, since she was on leave so she decided to come and see what's going on. So here she was - waiting on the chilly landing pad.

While Evelyn was wating for Kara to arrive at New Hope , she pepared her ship to pick her up. Now all night she couldn't sleep and as well she had perepred her Apatament for her Quest...
*Oh my gosh , how can i tell her all ihave in mind...What she might thing?*
Many question were running trough her mind, meny undefiend and stupid but also many with more sense.Now she jumped in her Eros to not make the Guest wait to much.On her way to the Pad, she was haveing mixed feeling happyness and sadness.
Now she just arrived and after she intiate the landing procedure, decied to look after Kara. She spoted her, she went to Kara and then she hugged her and with her lovely voice said:
*Welcome and also thanks for comming , hope i didn't deranged you !*

A minute or two later, Evelyn arrives and suddenly hugs Kara. A nice feeling, yet quite unusual for her; but one could expect anything from someone who almost drank herself to death.
After that short moment she responded "No need to welcome me here, gal, it's my home too after all. And no, it's no bother... although i'm really curious why you called me all the way from Sabah." She paused for a moment, taking her breath and looking at the Kairos' Eros. "So, i assume that's our ride. How about we get somewhere warm." she ended with a smile, rubbing her hands together since she had no gloves.

On their way hope Eve gentely asked Kara:
*So , who was your flight to here, oh and sorry for that message , not so detalied ...*
Soon the two arrive at Eve home... And then after she opend the light in her apartament a beautifull nice and white room appeard...
*Well this is the firt room , living and Citchen ... not so big*

During their quick ride, Kara responded to the Firebird's question "It was fine... I had the chance to see Coronado in a more slow paced manner, admire the view, you know? And don't worry about that. I don't have anything better to do at the moment anyway."
After exiting the Eros in the main yard of Section III, they walked a bit more and entered Evelyn's quarters. Kara took a good look around the entrance, her face blazing with interest.
"Nice place." After finding an armchair, Kara took a seat and continued. "You don't mind if i sit, do you? The cold seems to have numbed my feet." She then glanced around once more, and without pause, asked with a smile "So, why is it that you called, exactly?"

Before any action she decied to gave the guest something to drink....And she had just the right drink. She poor it the glasses and the heading to the isle in the middle of the kitchen ...:
*Now here , some as you liked Red Hessian Cider....Like on Ambrosia but more cold, just got it our of the freezer*
Then she sat down and after she took a sip from the glass voiced:
*Well the reason i asked you to com all the way here is more of childish one , thus very important to me is *She took a breath and a sip from the glass and carried on* in about a week from today i will be turning 23 , and my boyfriend , Drew captain of 5th Fleet Boston carrier , decied to oraganise a party for me, wich not so normaly scares , i never been in many unknow people company *Took another ship from the glass , took a second vocal pause and continued* and as well some of his Fleet mates told me he might be planning to ask me if i would marry him, not untill now all scares and as well there are gonna be important folks , but sadly nobody know to me.Now i asked you to come to help me , get the proper outfit help me to manage my feelings and aswell i was hoping to make you come to the party with , as more into a friend and have somebody to actaly know*
She was looking deep into Karas eyes while enjoing her drink .

Seeing there's no problem with her sitting down, Kara leaned back and relaxed. In a moment's notice, Evelyn brought some drinks, and apparently it was Cider for Kara. "Why thank you!"
After carefully listening to Evelyn's rather peculiar story, Kara took a few minutes to think about what she just heard. This was obviously something big, although not necessarily uncommon. After this long pause, Kara quickly blinked a few times to snap out and then she started to reply, on a calm tone "Alright... I see.I guess i can help you out however i can... I'm no pro when it comes to fancy clothes, but i think we can manage. As for the rest... well, let's just take it one step at a time." She paused for a moment and finally decided to take up that glass of Cider to start drinking it. After a few sips, she continued with a curious look "But... i'm intrigued - why ask me for help? I mean, we barely just met a day ago in the Ambrosia."

Eve was looking at Kara while she was speaking the after a few snips and a deep breath she said:
*Well this seems quite odd , as you said why did i picked you..Well was more of the moment feeling ...Something along the lines og my sefl telling me that you are what i was looking for ...Some nice and frendly face and a fellow in army..Now i see you with all excuse you gone thourgh life , well some of it , more the me and as well, as said you gaved me the feeling of actulay trusing and next to you i fell in freeborders somehow i felt the need of friend somebody i can talk my life issues and as well him or her to me *Quickly took a sip and then with a pause followed*.
She then started to laught and she said some jokes about boys and life then moved forward with her dialgue:
*Now about clothes ...He like dresses , Ermm...Lone ones...Red, purple, dark colours...Then aaaaa...Yeah yeah he likes me with high heels and as well he likes my hair straped into a tail ....Let's see what else will be...Ummm...Nothing i am aware of of...I this this all.*
Now she was looking at Kara .. and then was wating for her answer....

She listened to Evelyn's confession with a bewildered look, still unsure how to take it in. Still, it seemed as if the Firebird was being honest, so Kara stood up and raised her glass saying loudly "To an amazing and eventful party then!"
She then took one last sip, after which she placed the glass on the table and continued with her usual smile "And now come on, lose that tension, gal. You're a Colonial Pilot after all." - she chuckled. After this attempt to encourage Evelyn, Kara sat down and looked around pondering. Seconds later she asked "Do you happen to have a Data-slate around? Perhaps linked to the local neural net?"

She was thinking where she left her Data-Slate and then she went to look for it on her bedroom , but after cuple of minutes she yelled:
*Yes.. I found it....Ok let me get back!*
She found her Slate , the purple one thather boyfriend bought her...It was a new modle and had all the needs on it.
*Ok here is the Data-Slate you wanted now what are gonna do with this...Oh do you want anothe glass of Cider?...Hva ecuple more of them there...*
