"Player can attack X,Y,Z any were" - Vulkhard Muller - 02-03-2014 Alright been reading some ID's and I have noticed some say "Player can attack X,Y,Z anywhere" and others say "Player can attack X,Y,Z within their Zone of Influence"
My question is this. Does anywhere mean (for example) My LWB/FA is in say, Bretonia ( Getting guns from a Gaian base). and a Synth Foods comes down the lane, I can Rp and Engage him even though I am outside my ZOI? I'd assume this means I cannot pirate just Shoot him down. or Is it just a rewording of the same thing? Just wondering. ~A Slightly confused Angry Farmer. RE: "Player can attack X,Y,Z any were" - Remnant - 02-03-2014 I'm pretty sure it's the same thing, with another way of wording it. Although I don't know this for a fact, merely making inferences. I.E. Ships with a DSE ID can pirate vessels of corporations of Houses Liberty is hostile to anywhere, but can only initiate combat against them within their ZoI, which is defined as Liberty. RE: "Player can attack X,Y,Z any were" - Singularity - 02-03-2014 Well, I too am not sure, But if The ID states the 2nd one (ZOI one), then you can't shoot in Bretonia if its outside your influence zone. Can't shoot, Can't Pirate. -My Understanding of your question, and my assumptions RE: "Player can attack X,Y,Z any were" - Echo 7-7 - 02-03-2014 Do not try and interpret your own ID in the context of a different ID. The wording may be only subtly different, but it is different for a reason. RE: "Player can attack X,Y,Z any were" - Luke. - 02-03-2014 I know you're trying to make a point, Echo; being cryptic or indirect isn't really helping though. I'm sure quite a few may have this question. |
