To: Vagrant Raiders | Encryption: High | Subject: ITS]-Windward Ship's Log - Itasca Trading Squad - 02-04-2014 Good evening. A few months ago, during the construction of Itasca Station, I picked up a strange ship on my scanners. The ship's tag was SL-X-AUX, an unusual Hayabusa fighter. Me, Kamir, and miss Kelly Combs went to check it out, and it turns out it was just a derelict ship. Well, at the time it was. Strange events unfolded afterwards, which eventually led to the ITS]-Windward crashing into Wichita's moon. The scans of the singularity aboard the ship were supposedly destroyed as well, but the reason I'm sending this message is to tell you that was not the case. About three weeks ago, I sent a team of people down to Colby's surface; after a few days of scanning, we found what was left of the transport. Apparently, the ship was so hot from entry that it literally burned a hole through the layer of ice above the ocean. Special deep-sea suits were used to insulate the crew from the extremely cold temperatures down there, and we began searching for the ship's log in the bridge. I'll transmit the photo now. Here is Klein and Altairn at the front of the ship. You can see one of the turrets there. Two hours of cutting through the hull got us in the bridge, and surprisingly, the ship's logs were intact. I had my techy on Itasca Station decode everything and give me the data. Here's what we've been waiting for... all this time. Well there it is. I know, I know, it's not very much data. I didn't have very much time to scan before it disappeared, remember? Anyways, from what I got out of it, it's a wormhole of sorts. Not the traveling type wormwhole, but a gateway between two different EXISTENCES. Dimensions, if you will. I believe this guy is a ghost. Hey, there's my opinion. Disregard it if you want, but that's just what I think. What I think doesn't matter. Besides, that concept would explain why it showed up again after you blew it up with the Metropolis and nuked the remains afterward. As for the Windward... well she's a goner. No point in salvaging something so torn up. If the Junkers wanna give a stab at it, I'd let em, but there's not much left. Well, that's it. I'll be monitoring this channel in case you have something to say, so if you do please say it. See ya later. ::Transmission Lost::
