In a recent tragic accident - James Barlow, the President of Universal Shipping Incorporated - was killed.
James Barlow was killed by an asteroid in the Colorado system, by the far side of Planet Gunnison. Relatives to him says he was always interested in mining and asteroids, and this time it cost him his life. The involved on the scene say a big asteroid hit the command bridge of his ship, which ended in a swift, painless death along with the rest on the bridge. Questions arose as to why the asteroid wasn't avoided, but no answers have been given. Some believe technical difficulties endangered them.
His road up the top of Universal Shipping started not long ago, but it escalated faster than anyone could imagine, as if he was meant for it. Before he was an employee of USI, James was CEO of his own company Orbital Mining Corporation. An offer propsed to his company by USI was accepted. Himself and his employees were merged to a new subsidiary to USI called 3M, Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing.
An absence in the executives board of USI made the Vice President position open for him, and he took it. Not long after that the president of that time stepped down for certain reasons, which opened yet another door for James, and he found himself President of Universal Shipping until now.
The current acting president until a new is appointed by their executive assembly is the vice president Michael Trenton.
