Freelancer Mods - Eduard - 02-28-2014 We are all aware that freelancer is a very old game that should had been dead and forgotten if not for the thousands of mods that it had. Taking this into consideration, I was assaulted by the curiosity of how many mods could still be alive and thriving, mods other than disco. Disco seems like ( one of ) the last pantheons of FL. But is that true? I have a curiosity which begs me to inquire you: Do you happen to know of any other mods other than disco, preferably mods that support and encourage RP ? And have you ever played other mods besides disco? Like I said, FL is an old game and I think it would be a nice method to estimate how much it would live by the number of multiplayer mods it still has. It's simply a curiosity I have battled with for a few days. I hope this is the suitable forum for this kind of thread, and no, I am not trying to advertise anything. In fact, I think this would also give us a new perspective on Disco. It would be equally horrid and awesome to see that we are the last multiplayer ( RP ) mod for freelancer that still stands ( but may also imply that the death of this mod will come soon ) while the existence of other thriving mods would imply that FL still has a spark of enthusiasm and that disco will live off in one way or another. RE: Freelancer Mods - Highland Laddie - 02-28-2014 Is this really the right timing for such a discussion? Really? You could just as easy use Google to find this info on your own. I very easily found Disco without anybody's help or input. What exactly would decide whether it is or it is not the right timing? Yes, google may have helped me, but that would have disfigured the chances for a fruitful interaction with the other members of the community, a chance to partake in a mature, civilized discussion, debate, exchange of opinions and the past with my fellow discovery brethren in the most civilized way possible, after all, we're all mature, understanding folks here. Moreover, I have also asked if people played other mods besides disco. I am sure that kind of an answer cannot be found on google. RE: Freelancer Mods - aakopa - 02-28-2014 I think that crossfire has decent amount of player, I tried it but it didn't work on my computer. |
