I know about pimping my ship but I would like to change the color of my ship to a nice reflective gold or silver with accent color but also put in some nice details and high lights. I'll pay for this no problem there. Is it possible to do this I really want to bling out my favorite ship. Thanks for any advice

You'd need to mod the textures, and even then it would be visible only to you. Even if the cheat detector doesn't see this as a problem.

Yeah it's really not worth editing your textures for your own personal viewing.

if you want other people to see your ship, then you need to model the textures and submit it as a unique ship, possibly as part of a SRP
