He seems relaxed Hola, Respected Elders, It has been some time since we last spoke. At least this time, we aren't discussing an infraction of someone's laws. No, my inquiry is personal. As you may or may not know, I recently stepped down as administrator of the Temporary Autonomous Zoners. It is time for someone else to lead, someone with new ideas. Also, I wish to devote myself more to medicine and some other aspects of science. A young lady I recently met convinced me of this calling. I seek the blessing of the Empire to take some refuge on Crete itself. I have some work I would like to do there that may one day benefit your home world. It's too early to speak of it but I feel Crete offers what I need to work. Not just that but I could stand to get away for awhile to do some thinking of where I go next. Doc sighs and rambles a bit, a look of depression about his face Midori left me a short time ago, my work being too much. My children are with her. But I can't abandon my work.....my medicine. He takes a sip of some wine Awhile back, Elder Miguel Sephardi once told me of some mountains on Crete that he would often retreat too, to think, to clear his head, to put things in perspective. I don't remember where that was but I feel this area would be ideal for me. It is private, secluded and as he told me, beautiful. I could work in peace there. A private cabin or home would be preferable there. I will arrive on the ship that I am sending this transmission from, bringing my own supplies and equipment, enough to last me awhile. How long I will stay isn't certain, I just know I plan to be there for awhile if it is OK with the Elders. Naturally, I would leave on request if requested. I will be there alone with the exception of possibly one of my young assistants. My ship will leave for Freeport 9 with it's commander, Nicole Schmidt after I arrive. None of my crew or security will accompany me. Basically, no one will think to look for me on Crete nor does anyone but my ship's commander know. It's too early for me to tell the many projects that I have in progress but I will keep the council informed. Senors, I await your response and hopefully, your permission. While personally we never spoke, I remember that you are good friend to the Corsairs, that you were trying to calm the heat that were popping up from time to time around Gran Canaria. And thus, I believe you deserve my trust in you. Sephardi told about hideout in mountains? I believe he knows what he were talking about because I personally dont know the place you are speaking about. You might contact him to learn exact location, if you dont know already. If you will bring supplies with you, then I dont see much problems for your living among us, if you shall mind that you are a guest, even if welcome one. Besides, I think your presense will be even useful for us too. As you might know, there are many corsairs that require qualified medical assistanse. I do not ask you to get a mask and white robe and heal them on your own of cource, but I hope you will share your knowlege with us. Our doctors will gladly learn new ways to help our people. There are so many ways that human's body can be damaged and around Crete, most of them are possible. Apart from typical domestic cases, there are radiation surrounding our space, warriors what were wounded on a battlefield, different diseases that happening because of lack of food or clean water. We do our best to get our nation supplies and so far situation getting better over years, we still cant help everyone. We both can benefit from this situation, if you know what I mean... To clarify, it wasn't a hide out that Elder Sephardi once mentioned, it was some mountain that he would often go to for reflection. He never mentioned a name. I figured something so majestic would be well known. I will be arriving soon. Once my yacht drops me off, it will depart and I will have a small shuttle with what I need. Should I need more goods, I'll call my people for them later and notify the Elders. Of course, I'll be sure to have extra food brought for the locals. Providing medical service for won't be a problem. If there is a central place that I can visit, I'll do just that. That said, if the Elders are OK with it, I can have [TAZ]Med.Force.Three visit Gamma. It is a Corvo cruiser set up as a clinic and is commanded by Alicia Cook. Do excuse her heavy Bretonian accent but at the same time, she has no allegiance to the Bretonian Crown as she left it years ago. As for me, I'll be in a secluded location during my stay. I have some work to do privately and I need some time to clear my mind as well. Elder Lopez, I look forward to a meeting at some point. I'm sure we have much to discuss with each other.
