URGENT:
Once more today we have suffered outright piracy while in Liberty Core Space, NEW YORK.
We have once before dispatched a Cruiser to escort our Cargo Vessels when we had lost 4 in the space of 2 hours to Pirates flying Destroyer and Larger class vessels.
Today our Transport Contractor was Lane Hacked and Pirated by Mehanik Flying a Liberty Rogue Destroyer. This Freighter captain paid some money and was let free.
Where are the Liberty Security Forces? While you will not allow Groups to Escort their shipments with anything Larger than a Gunboat your Cruisers and other large ships sit at Fort Bush 'Tolling' and 'Harrassing' Lawful traders.
It is our belief that there is a level of corruption within Liberty Security forces that allows pirates to work with impunity while taking unlawful payments from legitimate traders, for trumped up or spurious 'offenses'
We would require an explanation for this outright toleration of piracy within your supposed most secure system at your earliest convenience. We shall look once more to giving our freighters an escort that is more suitable for the job than a gunboat as your Rogues have Destroyers and the best counter for a Destroyer is a CRUISER, unless Liberty can begin to guarantee a level of safety within her prestige system that befits a Major House of Sirius.
