Just had a Junker NPC demand my MOX while flying a cloaked Libdread.

Yep, same happened with me, involving Outcast, Molly and Corsair NPCs. But they don't shoot you when you deny it. Maybe you cannot turn invisible for NPCs. Engine limitation?
