I contact you today in regards to a conversation I had just a couple of days ago within the Cortez System. A Rheinland operative along with myself discussed the possibility of presenting myself to the private institute known as the Ravenholm Polytechnic College. I am in need of Liquid Cardamine to further my studies on such a rare substance, this however, is a private and personal matter, I would like to keep it that way. The Liberty Security Force is some what detrimental to my research. I can assure you that any information or resource that I might acquire from you, given it is permitted by yourself of course, will be kept secret from Liberty Security Force's personnel and Directorate.
As for trust professor.. I am compromising my position within the Liberty Security Force just by contacting you. In fact, I admittedly make a habit out of doing just that. Right now professor, I am contacting you from a secure location, and I am in the safe and capable hands of The Lane Hackers at current. An organisation you may or may not know of. If you do, then you can empathise for me, as I am clearly going to extreme lengths to ensure that I am well hidden from the lawful forces here within Liberty.

From one scientist to another, I would very much like to give you the benefit of the doubt. However, there are protocols to be kept for the greater good.
As an institution of science and the pursuit of knowledge, Ravenholm is not in the business of providing highly valuable and potentially dangerous materials to just anyone claiming to be a scientist, nor does it make a habit of providing such materials to the potential benefit of possible enemies of the Rhein.
Before anything is to happen, we will require a full extent of what research will be done on the Liquid Cardamine - to satisfy the ethical and safety concerns of turning over dangerous materials to a self-admitted agent of the LSF - and access to the fruits of the research being done. While you have stated that you would rather keep your research a closely guarded secret, it would be severely negligent of us to exercise any less than the utmost vigilance as far as this nature of research is concerned. Naturally, we would also feel most comfortable if the research is carried out within a laboratory administrated by either my organization, or by my benefactors.
As for your rather... fluid... identity, I suppose we can all appreciate the need for anonymity in this day and age. So long as the research itself is certain to pose no threat to Rheinland, and provides enough of a benefit to us, identity can be overlooked.

Allow me to begin by briefing you on the research I have conducted thus far. I am in possession of a nomad power cell professor. However, it is not ordinary, ten artifacts are currently orbiting said power cell, scans have suggested a plasma link has been implemented, causing an increase in activity and energy within this power cell. I am hoping, from one scientist to another, to enhance its activity. as I am currently in the initial stages of discovering its primary purpose.
It is suggestive that the power cell may be able to harness energy from a multitude of different things. Initial studies and testing had revealed that cardamine, a substance that is detrimental to life as we know it, stimulated the power cell slightly, causing it too react. However, I only witnessed a glimmer of its potential. I believe liquid cardamine is the key to stimulating the nomad power cell. Although liquid cardamine has a role to play within my research, as do you professor, I would ask that you assist me in my endeavour.
The research I wish to conduct on liquid cardamine is simple, I wish to conduct studies into its natural effect, initially combining liquid cardamine with the power cell to see if it has the capacity to stimulate the power cell into reacting. I also want to look at the molecular structure of said substance and render particular components to enhance the effect liquid cardamine may have on the power cell. It will work as a battery so to speak.
I am quite happy to conduct said research within Rheinland, preferably in a laboratory administered by your organisation. The power cell within my possession at current, will remain in my possession upon completion of our work and throughout the entirety of my time within Rheinland. I wouldn't want to compromise any future research I can conduct on the power cell, simply because it "miraculously disappeared" in the midst of my time in Rheinland. Forgive my apprehension, since I am going to extreme lengths to conceal myself and my research from any prying eyes. I'm sure you can empathize once more for my situation.

It is lovely to hear from you again, I imagine you have been rather busy, I originally assumed you became a victim of an experiment that had gone wrong.
