Also, it isn't a mod but if you don't have the Gun Runners Arsenal add-on, I like it quite a bit.

I'm currently running New Vegas with the following mods:

AWOP
Project Nevada
IWS (needs its own MCM installation, even though it comes with Project Nevada)
CONELRAD 640-1240
SomeGuySeries
The Inheritance
New Vegas Bounties 1 and 2
Max Level 100.esp

I strongly suggest using the Nexus Mod Manager to download and install your mods.

I like all of these mods, the only one I didn't was A World of Pain.

Project Nevada should be the first to get. More Perks rocks, too. Also the extra weapons modifications and EVE. Not too easy to get them running together, because you have to install compatibility patches, but easy enough and worth it.

I was sceptical in regards to AWOP, but it I find it to be a hoot and a half.

It's lore-friendly and offers a boatload of new locations. Nor does it seem to have any serious compatibility issues with the other mods I've got loaded.

CTDs are always going to occur, but I don't get them too frequently.

EVE is basically an eye-candy mod and tends to be more trouble than its worth.

Use EVE along with NevedaSkies, Electrocity, NMC, Wasteland Flora Overhaul and some other stuff and have no problems with it (4GB Loader and a correct loadorder are kinda important)
Also like WMX, WMR, More Perks/Traits Project Nevada, Bountys... but all mentioned
before i guess ^^
