LN and LSF KOS Policy? - Asgardian - 08-20-2008 Ok, im a Navy officer in the Liberty Navy, and the lines appear to be blurred when engaging people in Z21 and Alaska. I've heard that you MUST warn them beforehand (which i usually do anyway), but ive heard that you can simply shoot without warning them. Also, what factions can i destroy, and how can you stop a person under lvl 30 from entering the restricted zones...you cant shoot these people, can you? I'd just like a bit of clarification on whether or not an unofficial LN pilot can engage any non-LN/LSF ship in Z21 and alaska. LN and LSF KOS Policy? - Zapp - 08-20-2008 You can destroy any faction (LPI included, due to a rumor), and you can't stop anyone under 30. Also, due to that same rumor you don't have to warn anyone, but you should. LN and LSF KOS Policy? - Walker - 08-20-2008 I found that not saying anything until you open fire is much better... Otherwise they suddenly just start running to Omicron Minor and hide in Kappa... But otherwise I just engage on sight anything in Zone-21 that seems its just another person using it as a highway, other times depending on how they look Ill ask a few questions. LN and LSF KOS Policy? - Spear - 08-20-2008 The only factions you shouls see in Alaska are Order, BH, Keepers and off course LN and LSF ID holders. All other factions are tresspassing in restricted space and can be engaged at will but I prefer RP rather than immediate attack unless its an obvious RP enemy like a Xeno (killed one in Alaska today). Dont attack the BH there unless they use the NY JG which is restricted. Never attack an under lvl 30 unless they have a faction ID mounted. Quote:5.3 Attacking characters of level 29 and below is prohibited. Characters under level 30 cannot be attacked by players of any level, except if they have non-Civilian ID onboard, and except cases of self-defense. LN and LSF KOS Policy? - Boss - 08-20-2008 I'd disagree with that list, Spear. BHG have no reason to be in Alaska. Well I'm basing that on their NPC presence and the fact they are prosecuting a war with the Order, but yeah hopefully the next version has their NPC's deleted from Alaska as they have plenty of other systems from which to fight the Order. LN and LSF KOS Policy? - Praetyre - 08-20-2008 Jinx has a better theory, that they arrive from the "back door". Anyway, for information: ![]() LN and LSF KOS Policy? - AdamantineFist - 08-20-2008 Rather straightforward, really. If the LN/LSF doesn't like you, you go boom. Now, they can, if they choose, tell you to leave or go boom. Up to them. Only exceptions to this are fellow members of LN/LSF (ID + tag. If you don't bother to get the matching tag, you obviously don't have clearance). Shouldn't be too difficult to work out your clearance with anyone guarding Zone 21/Alaska if you're indie LN/LSF. Oh, and remember, under lvl. 30s with civvie IDs don't exist, in terms of RP, so don't bother them. LN and LSF KOS Policy? - MB52 - 08-20-2008 Eh... I hate under 30s.. they should be free for all when in zones like that. Every day I see at least 2 or 3 of them coming in with idiotic names going "LOLLL look at me I'm going to alaska and you cant touch me" or the ones that come and simply RAM you over and over till they either blow up or you kill them.... Obviously it is not just new players doing this, I suspect it is older players with a grudge against liberty or something... LN and LSF KOS Policy? - monsterlancer - 08-20-2008 ' Wrote:Eh... Sometimes it is real hard to get your trigger finger off the button though :nono::nono:But I fugure they are just stupid civilians and write their name down on a ever growing list for futher investagation at a latter date. :nyam::nyam: |
