Muffled noises crowd the inside of the ship. Infants, Elders and people from all sorts of age groups were aboard.
A loud and commanding noise comes from the direction of the cockpit.*On course to Alpha, we are to move through hostile territory. Expect some resistance from the Libertonian jerks. But, fear not. We will make it.*
They were a group of Maltese moving from Buffalo to their home, in Alpha. Their little unit moved through the badlands and then onto open space. They avoided any visible contact with the lanes and other such entities.
The ship reached the Colorado Jump Hole. They were in Colorado within moments of activating the Jumping sequence. It was devoid of any activity that interested their proceedings. Except for a few Junkers here and there.
The ship and the escorts moved through the asteroid fields towards the Kepler jump hole. There was a mist of inconvenience about the surroundings. They did not come across a single Libertonian all through this time. It was a bit strange.
The ship was near the Kepler jump hole....
