besieged by hoover platforms - JadenTrent - 04-23-2014
i'm a completely new player on the server and i only know the recent discovery version from singleplayer
the singlepayer version does not have these darn hoover platforms, so..
silly me, not knowing what they were, i, well, shot them. about three shots, and, obviously, they didnt take that to nicely.
now i am stuck at manhattan, with hoovering platforms in the orbit that shot me down the moment i come out of the docking rings.

the problem is they stay hostile forever.
i have a friendly reputation with all liberty house organisations, so its only that foolish attack from about 15 hours ago that keep them firing at me.
after waiting an entire night nothing has changed..

You're problem seems to be that you've shot the base or weapon platforms by accident. You'll have to ether wait for the server restart or make a communications post to the Liberty Navy or Liberty Security Force (Can't remember who owns the base) and ask them for docking permissions or to be put on the friendly list

Never shoot at PoBs(Player Owned Bases). Hoover is a player built base and it wont be visible in singleplayer or other servers. PoBs work completely different than normal bases and they are destructible. So, if you fire accidentally one shot, whatever be the gun, even mining arrays, it will make the base mad, and their guns are no less than BS class turrets.
For, your situation, just wait for a server restart, which will fix your rep with hoover, as it was assigned previously.

sry that it took me a while to answer, my pc had major screw-ups.
i just checked, and the hoover platforms are all gone.
so i dont really know what happened, but certainly can exit the planet now

The base got blown up by presumably hackers or something of the sort.
