Members of the Government, and Armed Forces Admiralty Board,

I have a request of you today. I have, in my time not fulfilling shipping contracts, been working on a project, which could be deemed a little selfish to begin. You see, I lost the use of my legs in an accident many moons ago. As a result of this, I cannot work many of the more complicated controls of fighter, bomber and freighter craft. This means I am restricted to flying nothing less than a transport, not the most practical of vessels I must admit. From this restriction, I began work on a Project, which we have dubbed at Bowex "Project 42".

The aforementioned project, is effectively a remote controlling system for vessels using, initially, stations friendly to ourselves at Bowex to extend the signal range. This, however, has many restrictions. What I am asking of you, is permission to upload the vessel control code to the Bretonian Lane network. It is known that the house is the protectors of it's own lanes, so my hope is that with your permission, I could get this code uploaded for civilian use, or even use by the Armed Forces and Police Authority.

My hope, with this, is that those who suffer problems, like myself, which restrict them from doing things, like the experience and speed of fighter craft, a thrill i'm sure, can overcome this, and live a life without restrictions, using this "remote-control" method. If required, I can explain in further detail to an engineer of the Armed Forces, or the Crowns lane network official. I thank you in advance for your patience and your time.

Good Evening

We ... of the Armed Forces... have had our eye on you for some time lately mister Wolf.... It would appear that coincidences.... do exist.

I shall explain myself and this late reply. The BAF is currently in the final stages of completing a ... similar project for its snubcraft.
You can understand our surprise as your transmission appeared and that shortly after we suspected a leak of intel...

Our... 'Dragoons' as we chrisnened them, are drones for miltary purposes controlled from a faraway distance. By now I imagine you have seen them on your scanners from time to time...
The concept is more or less the same. Yet your ... 'trading aspect' opens of course a dimension we had not yet conceived.

I advise that we talk more mister... Wolf.
Now that the intelligence has given me sufficient proof that your ... project 42 is indeed a ... coincidental step in time.
You will fly your personal ship, within the next 2 hours, from Lancaster trade hub and dock with the Macduff itself, hangar 3 to be exact. One of ours will escort you in between those destinations. Pay no heed to him as he will break off right before landing. You are to maintain radio silence throughout this entire flight, no one will bother you.

That is of course... if you wish your project to see daylight in the most favourable circumstances...
Let me be clear mister Wolf that this is not a veiled threat but an order in name of the Kingdom of Bretonia.
We both know that resources are limited at this time and work better combined... then seperate...

After all ... one plus one makes three... no?

Looking forward to your arrival

Admiral Bloom.

You must forgive me for the inexcusably late reply. I have been working hard, bringing materials into Bretonia proper, it has drawn me from my desk. In todays world, managers and employees alike must muck in, I'm sure you agree sir.

Having finally had a chance to sit down and check my messages, I came across yours. I am roughly a days flight away in Liberty, but will make best speed to the Battleship Macduff as soon as possible. In fact, I'll get my papers signed and ready to fly as soon as I am done here sir.

I would like to conclude by saying I am glad to hear that the Armed Forces are interested in my work, and the uses it may present. Whilst I hoped for civilian use initially, I understand the requirement for such technology in a military light, although this can be discussed at great length in person. I hope my discussion with you will shed light onto the feasability of the uploading of the sub-routine control signal to the gate/lane network for Bretonia. In the meantime sir,
