Is there still a Colonial Republic?? - Benz - 05-03-2014
Hello fellow pilots!
I recently returned back to FL (after playing 4.84/4.85). I never played for/with the CR but suddenly it was the best choice for me and I love the whole struggle against the odds thing and the fight against the Gallic.
BUT I played for 10 days now and just met once a ship with a Colonial-ID. And it was not even someone from the official faction. Here is my simple question:
Is there still a CR? If so...where? And if not: Why not?

The Official CR|- Faction still exists, though at the moment, quite inactive, like much of Disco.

Inactive is an understatement. The CR- is dead. Not officially, but it's not going to be jumping in to save the day if Gallia attacks. You'd likely have more fun as an Indie player anyways.

Or of course you could try joiing CR- and try to get it back alive again, is up to you.

as long as I still can more or less be bothered to check skype, there's CR. The official faction exists under competent (obviously not mine) leadership (Nox Carter/Rohj Teerin) and is about as healthy as it can be considering how rotten disco is being. Particularly now.
Join if you feel like mostly looking fruitlessly for Royal shipping to oppress, listening to ramblings of past glory (preciously little) and enjoy the sexiest-looking ships.
