What happens to unmounted equipment on death? - Ponge - 05-05-2014 Hello. What happens to the unmounted special equipment (cloak, jump drive, hyperspace scanner) when someone shoots you down and you die? Do they fall out of your ship like commodity, ammo and bots/bats? Or they get lost? I heard there was a low chance of the mounted equipment to be lost on death, does that still apply? RE: What happens to unmounted equipment on death? - aakopa - 05-05-2014 You will lose unmounted stuff. RE: What happens to unmounted equipment on death? - evanz - 05-05-2014 it floats and everyone else grabs it all RE: What happens to unmounted equipment on death? - Ponge - 05-05-2014 Hm, to contradicting answers. Yes, batteries/nanos and ammo float around, but what about a jumpdrive, or armor, that is unmounted? RE: What happens to unmounted equipment on death? - St.Denis - 05-05-2014 Everything that is unmounted will be there for others to tractor in. RE: What happens to unmounted equipment on death? - Haste - 05-05-2014 Nukes and other explosive weapons might just blow up all of your equipment, though. RE: What happens to unmounted equipment on death? - Freeroamer - 05-05-2014 I found a Cau 7 and BS Scanner in space at one point RE: What happens to unmounted equipment on death? - Badperson - 05-06-2014 (05-05-2014, 09:58 PM)Freeroamer Wrote: I found a Cau 7 and BS Scanner in space at one point And I found a BLUE BLAZE, an ARCHANGEL, and 30 nuke mines floating around at one point. Other question: if someone kills you in a battle you consent to, but you, say, forgot you had an unmounted BS scanner, and your opponent/anyone else gets it, can he be sanctioned for taking it without your consent, or the "you were stupid, your loss" scenario applies? Pretty much fault of own stupidity. There is no rule preventing tractoring in loot. Nor in Conn, nor outside it. You can always ask nicely, though. |
