To Commander Davids || Overwatch frequency - Omicron - 05-28-2014 Comm ID: The Order Overwatch
Davids, Golanski here. We have an important matter to discuss. Situation in Omicrons is developing... I dare to say in advantageous manner to allow us spread our wings in not only Omicrons but also entire Sirius. As you've been aware, we captured Aleister Corke... a hit they seem unable to recover from. This is our clue to press into Omicron Delta in nearest future, contingencies to restore our claim to the system to state from before Toledo disaster. Corsairs, aggresive as ever are only temporary nuissance that is bound to happen once in a while. If they push it, we will answer but for now I do not consider AI Consensus to be worthwhile at the momenth to aid them in more significant way. With Sentinel base annihilated, they should be more than capable to get well on their own. Our past precedessors underestimated threat from Nomads. They are everlasting factor we have to put in all of our plans. I disagreed with few of Orillion's policies - most notably Corsair affair - yet we are obliged to finish what he started. Not many remember that humanity is also a credible threat to itself and our other duty is also restoring the balance. So Davids... I do expect you have since used privilege of your current level of clearance. With it, you should know more about Order of Cincinnatus and early history of the Houses. Most notably story that never seen daylight... Valhalla 1 RE: To Commander Davids || Overwatch frequency - Mercarryn - 05-28-2014 Gut evening, Gollansky,
Well, Valhalla 1 rings a bell for me, though I was not able to make myself familiar with the really fine details. I won't bore you with the reasons for this, as I think you them already. Anyway, as it seems, you want to give me access to some of the more closed information behind it. Nun, I am all ears. Valhalla 1... the source of most potent technology in use by Sirians today. Most notably, Faster Than Light travel which is legacy of Daam K'Vosh empire. Hidden knowledge meant to be passed on to the Nomads, if it were not for Sol exodus. It is one of the reasons Nomad War started to begin with. They are troubled by the fact that we had whole centuries to carefully study it. The Order was there, at the very center since the beggining. I am adding my newly appointed second in command to this channel as well. She proved skillful when commanding her ORC and proved worth in wars against Core and Nomads themselves. Liara will also need to know of our plans. Originally, The Order was to ensure Liberty's survival and supremacy. This of course shifted, for all good reasons, to protect humanity as a whole. Our origin lays there yet ultimately Liberty may prove biggest threat from within. Ever since decline of Cincinnati, our power in Liberty relied on President Jacobi. Unfortunatelly Powell stands in our way, pitting a lot of assets to hinder our advances. Most notable splinter in our backside is Liberty Security Force. With Gallia overstretching itself on Magellan front, it is just matter of time until they are challenged by technologically more superior and adapt fleets of Liberty, whose skill honed in Rheinland conflict. Humanity was most powerful at point before Nomad War begun, where all forces were at balance. As old saying says, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Question is, can we afford to leave Liberty as greatest force in known space? I have no doubts that once dust of warfare settles on the battlefield, Liberty will emerge as enormous moloch capable of challenging everything and everyone - situation unnacceptable if Nomads are to gain influence within government again. To remind you, it would not be the first time. RE: To Commander Davids || Overwatch frequency - Noraim - 05-29-2014 *Liara settled into her seat with a cup of tea at hand, a few moments after the video feed began* Thanks for the admission, Admiral. Also, nice to see friendly faces aswell, Davids. *She'd bow her head in greetings* Now then, gentlemen. Unless I was interrupting something, I believe a few details are overdue, except for what has been said so far. RE: To Commander Davids || Overwatch frequency - Mercarryn - 05-30-2014 Admiral,
I am not sure, if weakening Liberty at this moment is the wisest choice. You are maybe correct about the Gauls, but we should not underestimate them. They have pushed the Bretonian Armed Forces to the side as if the had not existed. And with Leeds in their hands more or less the GRN has a bridgehead. On the other hand, if the war continues like now, the Liberty forces might become desperate and utilize nomad technology, if they haven`t already. Something we should prevent at all costs. Perhaps...if we weaken both sides more or less we can achieve this goal. Anyway, let us know what you have in mind, Gollansky. RE: To Commander Davids || Overwatch frequency - Noraim - 05-31-2014 *Liara plays a soothing tune in the background while the discussion occurs* If I may, gentlemen. While I agree that Gallia's current strength seems overwhelming, since they have, as Davids said, more or less obliterated most resistance from the Bretonian front and conquered Leeds, all while worth mentioning that they've withstood continous pounding from Outcast raids and what little resistance the Colonials displayed, I still believe Liberty to be wise enough to take advantage of its less reckless assets and unique position. They've so far been unblooded by the battle, and have quite some feedback as to how Gallic forces operate, their tactics and so on, provided through reports from their Bretonian allies. Aside from that, they're in a position to acquire several war assets from the survivors of the Gallic conquest. As far as we know, hindered as it may be, the Colonial Republic will surely give the green light towards an alliance between their remaining forces, the Bretonian resistance and the bulk of Liberty's fleet. Liberty is still far from being pushed to such a level of desperation so as to become reckless and abuse something as volatile as alien technology. If they're smart ofcourse. As a final mention, and only as a precaution, I suggest we attempt to bring yet another party into this, if possible. Namely, the Coalition. It sounds crazy, I know, but they've yet to encounter anywhere near as much hostility from others as they've received from the Gauls. Besides, reports from my Agent in Liberty say they've been caught in Magellan recently, in an ugly crossfire between Gallia and Liberty, and as suspected, the Gallics were their agressors. Considering this isn't the first time Gallia sends them packing, if I were them, I'd be sure to take any chance I get to return the favor. Bretonia was indeed crushed by Gallic forces, yet they were already cornered by time they arrived. Extended conflict against Kusari imperial forces took brunt of assets that could have stood against GRN. If you have suggestions concerning weakening Gallia, feel free to suggest them. Despite The Order directly or indirectly inflicting decisive majority of combat losses to Liberty Navy during Nomad War, they remained the greatest military force in Sirius of today. Coalition are an uncontrollable liability. Traitorous bunch backstabbing their friends on regular basis when not busy with petty infighting. In fact after their Omicron Minor incursions combined with "stunt" including certain agent named Jeremy Hunter, I find them no better than Core or worse... Nomad cultists. Involving them will cost us more than it is worth given their very nature. Remember that we are still effectively in conflict them, despite no actual combat occuring. If anything, it will be to benefit of all Sirius if they perish alltogether. Unfortunately, some factions with Hessians on top are unwilling to end with it. I could continue but instead of it you could simply contact my sister. Personally I would put my trust with Council and Lane Hackers, which operations of really impress me so far. While the former are capable force to mantain insurection inside Gallia's borders, Hackers proved more than co-operative despite their connections with the Outcasts. Golanski out. |
