'Aight. So you probably are aware how some people, who think they are smarter than everyone else tend to prefer the less active times of the cycle to go out and ''liberate''some cargo from the smaller Civilian patrols? I am sure you are aware of such individuals.
Needless to say, we were informed about such a group currently active in Colorado, so we gathered up and went out to check. The ones involved on our side were as follows:
What we found at the site was not something we expected to see, however. Usually it is some pirate, blowing up patrols to gain their cargo and allowing freelance traders to gather it up for split profit. This time it was not like that at all.
Yes. Exactly. As our group approached Denver from Rio Grande side, we already saw those two transports (Jubal and MR) docking on the planet. As we were moving towards the Galileo gate lane and they undocked, they did so without any cargo or intention to leave towards New York like you'd expect.
It is no surprise that after finding Captain Hammer and DerrialBook at the gate, shooting up transports, those two freelancers were next to come right in, thinking we were busy with those two and tractored all of that cargo and began to flee.
They did not get too far. By the way, as we were arriving to the gate, we saw the captain of the CaptainHammer take out a Kishiro transport. The magnification is rather bad, but since our migration from Sol, the CSI Miami enhancing software was lost in the process.
The cargo on both of the freelancers were just what you would have expected them to have. A mix of surviving crew from the transports, Hfuel from the reactor bays and whatever cargo that the attacked patrols were carrying at the time.
We prioritized the freelancers, obviously, because they still had the crews onboard and who knows where would they take them, perhaps they were even going to outright jettison them out in the open. The whole process was a bit messy as the two were not going to cooperate at all.
In the end we were forced to destroy them all, including the merc in the fighter, who had opened up on one of the secondary fleet pilots, who joined our later on.
The cruiser captain remains at large, he slipped away during the commotion with the transports. We need permission to take this sucker in and ask what the hell was he thinking about.

I'm glad the Kitty Hawk could participate in taking out some of the scum that inhabit our home systems... though I'm a bit curious as to where the Liberty Police Force was during this incident... this is hardly the kind of work a LSF operations vessel should be doing...
Regardless, we managed to pick up some survivors from the wreckage of the downed ships. Some crew of the civilian vessels that came under attack, and some who refuse to say... well anything.
These individuals have been detained, and will remain confined in the Kitty Hawk's brig until their release is negotiated. Otherwise, its off to a special undisclosed location for them.
