Konnichiwa, or "Gudden Tag" as you say in Rheinland. I am known as The Fisherman by... just about anyone really, and I have the privilege of overseeing the works and business of our humble Takarabune company, part of a larger corporate.

I have received word from our agent Hebishima-san that he managed to get in contact with you recently. He had been recently assigned to Rheinland to start our branch of operations there, and I'm pleasantly surprised that he started getting results so soon.

We apologize for the then unwelcome presentation of our credentials to the Unioner ships and their farmer colleagues. Hebishima-san has taken his time to get in touch with some contacts and investigate, and reported that there should not be any more problems regarding apparent hostilities. Situations may arise, but eh, I hope you may get along with him in the future.

The Takarabune Company is part of a conglomerate of the same name, and one of the prime producers and exporters of Junyo Pearls throughout Sirius. We also focus on the export of Kusari finest agricultural and natural produce, and in the import of fine food and beverages from abroad for our Kusarian customers.

I have been letting my conversation prolong long enough, and this long relay messages are costly for our humble business, even with all the help. I will leave the following arrangements and communications to our representative Hebishima-san in this channel.

Guten Tag, Mr. Fisherman, my name is Arnold Kormann, but I would appreciate it if you just called me Kormann. I apologize for not being able to reply to you immediately. Communications going in and out of Rheinland are monitored by the Military as well as Buro der Marineintelligenz so we have to be cautious sending out transmissions.

You are correct. Two days ago while conducting operations in New Berlin we did encounter Mr. Hebishima. He was hauling H-fuel and our concern at the time was that he would be selling it to one of the agencies in the Rheinland government. As you can imagine we can not allow that. Fortunately it turned out that agent Hebishima was very smart and reasonable, so we suggested an alternative. The Landwirtrechtbewegung are out "former" farmer colleges. Our relationship with them has become somewhat strained recently. If the Takarabune company wishes to hammer out a trade deal with the LWB and I have no doubt they will be interested in your agricultural goods then the Unioners will not stand in your way. That is something you will have to work out with them though.

These Junyo Pearls might be something that we are interested in. I will have to confer to Mr. Ansgar before anything can be arranged. In the mean time I would like to know more about these pearls. How much are they worth, what is there value. I hope we can establish a future working relationship. I will contact you again once I have conferred with my superior.

Good evening Kormann-san. A pleasure to meet you again so soon. We have received your transmission and passed along our contacts back to the bos... the Fisherman-san. Rest assured that we have used the best methods at our disposal to keep privacy of the contents.

I'm glad that you showed initiative in choosing the first topic for potential business. As I have told in our last meeting, our humble company specializes in the production and export of these quality items. The Pearls being produced in Junyo are of a kind unequal in all of Sirius, and are one of the marks of Kusari proficiency in marine products.
Although other jewels might be used to adorn exquisite clothing and and be integrated in high tech components and equipment, our Pearls are of a much humbler upbringing, and are praised by their iridescent qualities. They are used in simple jewelry styles, such as collars and earrings, and has several applications as a component of pharmaceuticals and paints.

While they do not directly feed a man, they can become a great investment, and generate a good source of funds for those who can bring them to wanting customers.
If your party is interested, we may discuss a more elaborate arrangement about this or other products from Kusari.

I will try to contact the LWB soon to evaluate their stance and interest in a mutual beneficial partnership. Meanwhile we also have some minor questions we would like to be answered.

Kormann-san and his colleague have mentioned efforts on your part to contact the Corsairs, mainly about their bases if I recall correctly. Our question is what does the Unioners aim for in their relation with the Corsairs, and where do you wish to take it? I ask this not as a sign of distrust, but get a greater understanding of the relations in Frankfurt and the Sigmas, where our ships must pass frequently. It would also enable us to diffuse any future tensions regarding competing deals and base traffic discretion.

Second question is about the Unioner space of operations. We understand that their main interests lie within Rheinland, and probably most of it's operations. We would like to ask for information about your operational capabilities in the Omega systems, and a general view of your relationships with it's inhabitants.

I apologize for any rudeness or intrusion my requests may cause, and hope that a fruitful relationship may arise from our talks.

Guten Tag, Once again. I once again I apologize for the delay in replaying to your previous message. Before I get to the matter of this business opportunity I will take this time to answer your questions. Lets start with the second question first. We do not operate in the Omega systems personally. We have no need to due to the fact that most of Rheinland's corporate headquarters are located within Rheinland's own borders. It is there where we Unioners feel we can due the most damage to the greedy, overpaid executives that run these various corporations. However we do have ties to the radical faction that operates in the Omegas. The Red Hessians have done business with the Unioners in the past. We have smuggled their Blood Diamonds into the house of Liberty. Right now our relationship with the Hessians is somewhat........strained... just like the LWB. I hope I have answered this question to your satisfaction.

Right now for our business with the Corsairs. I will not be able to go into any sort of detail regarding this matter. Mr. Ansgar and I have agreed that our business relationship as well as our intention and goals with the Corsair should remain a private matter between us and them. We have only just heard about your company couple days ago. A certain level subterfuge and restraint must be applied by both the Unioners and the Takarabune Company. I hope you understand.

Now for the heart of the matter, The Junyo Pearls. You make the pearls sound very intriguing. My only issue is that anybody can paint a brick gold and call it a gold brick. While I doubt you have any reason to lie about these pearls I would still like to inspect one of these jewels. What I propose is that you bring one of these specimen to a specific location at a time that is convenient for you. If you agree and then provide a time the I will provide you with coordinates of the location. Either me or one of my Colleagues will be there to inspect the pearl so we can see the value for ourselves. If we see that these pearls are worth investing in then we can discuss further business arrangements on that location. I look forward to meeting you in space.

Good evening Kormann-san, Hebishima here. It took us some time to have a shipment of the pearls brought to our depot in Frankfurt. We also took the liberty of bringing some of our other products we usually trade with, since our trade is not confined to our home product. We have brought several samples of Kusari finest produce, as well as some unusual products not easily found on the open market in Kusari.

We suggest we set up a meeting either tomorrow or the day after, no sooner than 9 p. m. standard sirian time. I ask that you provide us with a discrete place for our cargo to be evaluated.

Ah, Mr. Hebishima I think I am receiving you.. It has been quite some time sense we last spoke. I must apologize for that. An Ion storm passed through the Munich system damaging the communications relay on Leipheim station. As a result we could not send you the location of you meeting spot. Now with our communications back we can continue this business arrangement.

We have received your list and now we have a slight change of interest. I would still like to see the pearls, however the Kusari Rice and the H-Fuel interest us greatly. We would like to negotiate over those items as well. As for the meeting itself... it would be very beneficial if you could rendezvous with one of our ships sometime in the next 6 hours.
