I am captain Karl von Schlefenberg, in command of Rheinland cruiser RNC-Herschel. I know we were doing problems to each other and we weren't in need of your help, but Rheinland ist in bad economic situation. So we are forced to do desperate, I think it ist right to tell insane things, like contacting Omicron Supply Industries about wish to manufacture cloaking device for the Rheinland military Donau class cruiser. I am not beknown with all Kanzlers plans, only with those I need to know. Only thinks You need to know are that we are at war with Liberty and we need to get an advantage in the battlefield. In defense and in attack, it depends on situation. We believe your cloaking device will bring us an advantage. I believe every rich faction, like Zoners, wishes to be even more rich, so I am offering 350 000 000 Sirius credits for one cruiser cloaking device. Money ist not important for me and it can't win any war. We need combat technology for it. The cloaking device ist excellent example of this technology. I hope you will agree with my offer because it ist very important for us to succesfully fight our enemy, far worse than problematic Zoners venturing deep into Rheinland space *he grins*. Personally, I have never had problems with You, except one of your battleships in Hamburg *he smiles*, which was peacefully escorted into Bering without problems.

I would be gratefull, if You would be ought to make one cloaking device for my cruiser. If you comply, we will dock our ship to shipyard where we will prepare it's cargo hold, energetic systems and shield generator to be able to support the cloak. This procedure can take up two days, but no longer time.

Sehr geehrter Herr von Schlafenberg

I would like to apologize for the delay but this delicate matter was bumped up to me, the CEO of Omicron Supply Industries. That happened for two reasons: As you are well aware, as you have specifically mentioned it, there is a certain delicacy in the relationship between the government of Rheinland and Omicron Supply Industries. I'm saying “government of Rheinland” because many citizen of Rheinland, among them yourself, do not share the somewhat questionable attitude of their government towards our corporation.

We did, at one point, request clarification from your government on the matter of selling advanced equipment to their citizen and affiliated corporate bodies. Their answer was to denounce you and many others as scammer. Frankly, I don't quite know how to feel about a government which is insulting their citizens as criminals.

Secondly, there is the purely militaristic nature of your request. While I, personally, and I'm sure our shareholders would see that differently, would not have any problems doing business with Rheinland citizens or corporations, I do have problems if our equipment is used to facilitate warfare.

As you may not be aware, Omicron Supply Industries does not condone or support military actions of any kind, safe of self defense. Therefore, we have to deny your request for a cloak.

I do, however, wish you the most of luck and I'll hope to hear from you should you ever find yourself without a job. Our security department is always looking for able pilots and commanders.
