Admiral Anderson,

Thank you for your interest in Deep Space Engineering. It is always an honor to address the Secondary Fleet admiralty directly. The inquiry was recently forward so I apologize for the delay.

Due to the nature of the project, we would like to ensure the Navy Primary Fleet has been appraised and approves before moving forward. Though we are always running at full capacity to assist with the war effort as well as constructing the means to keep Liberty's economy moving, we are always happy to accommodate the Navy, given the proper clearance and provision of key details so we can prepare - especially duration, budget, and materials. As we have had few opportunities to extensively examine Gallic vessels, we may also need some time for scans to perform a full assessment - unless you have the means to provide these yourself.

To the last point, as you are likely aware, Liberty's access to one of the largest known deposit of boron in Sirius within Planet Pittsburgh has been a great boon to its development of the strongest hull paneling. We would appreciate an estimate of the magnitude of the project so we can direct mining operations appropriately.

Once again, thank you for your interest in Deep Space Engineering. We hope to hear from you soon.

Admiral Anderson,

Preliminary assessments from our head researchers and foreman indicate that diverting resources toward this project, factoring in the foreign nature of the technology, may result in a reduction of standard production by up to 15%. Bear in mind that this will be in addition to the cost of any current projects we are undertaking at the behest of the Primary Fleet. Should the Primary Fleet Admiralty find this acceptable and approve, Baltimore Shipyard is willing to entertain your proposal.
