The Karagura Clan
History of the clan:
The clan was created in 173 AS by the third brother of the shogun. Akihide Hideyoshi was his founder and decided to rename himself Akihide Karagura when he created the clan. At this age, the shogun in place decided to send his young brother and his clan to rule over planet Honshu. After years of prosperity, the wealth of the planet took a hard hit with the catastrophic decline in the fish stocks in 250 A.S. Karagura clan did his best to keep the standard of living of Honshu inhabitants but it was hard time for everyone. During the great treason of samura, most rulers and warriors of the Karagura clan were at Honshu planet. When they learned what happened to the shogun, they decided to launch a revenge strike against Samura and the Shinjuku station. During this attack, almost all members of the clan died, in return for critical damage inflicted to the station and ships guarding it. Only the youngest member of the principal branch survived. Chiyoko Karagura, at the age of 16 years old, becomes the new daimyo of the clan. After came back to Honshu, he heard rumors about what Hideyoshi guard and Kozue Okamura had retreat in Chugoku system. Seeing the samura and traitor forces approaching planet Honshu, he decided to reach new formed Blood Dragons with all women and child of the clan. Even if seriously weakened, the clan survived inside the Blood Dragons and grew up again. For 20 generations, all daimyos did their best to bring back Karagura clan at a powerful position inside the ranks of the Blood Dragons. Today, the clan is ready to return to it's original place and rule again on Planet Honshu. With the troubles in Kusari, the clan prepares himself to launch an attack on Honshu system with the help of all Blood Dragons. The final goal of the Karagura clan is of course to bring back a Hideyoshi descendant at the head of Kusari. The clan is led today by a young man, Genkishi Karagura, assisted by his brother Daisuke and his younger sister Himeka.

173 AS: Founding of the clan by Akihide Karagura
176 AS: The Karagura Clan becomes daimyo of Honshu Planet
250 AS: Catastrophic decline in the fish stocks on Honshu Planet, Clan does his best to keep calm on the planet and nationalize all fish production.
312 AS: Sakura Coup, the death of the Shogun. The clan launches an attack against Shinjuku station, almost all warriors lose their life in the battle.
313 AS: Chiyoko Karagura and remaining members reach Chugoku and join Blood Dragons
497 AS: Large raid of Blood Dragons led by the Karagura Clan daimyo against Osaka Storage Facility. Enough food and water were stolen from Samura to feed all Blood Dragons for one year.
570 AS: Raid of the clan against a Samura convoy, Every fighter were destroy and the transport, a K7: P-19T "Akegata" were taken. The ship is still use by the clan to transport supplies.
653 AS: A patrol was caught by surprise by a Samura Wing. The 3 members fought bravely but were outnumbered. They brought 13 Samura with them in the death.
800 AS: Doto Karagura, Father of Genkishi Karagura, was part of the wing that attacked the Tekagi’s arch. His ship was damage and he lost consciousness during the fight but survived.
821 AS: Genkishi Karagura takes the lead of the clan.
Clan description:
Members of the clan: Almost 200
Location: today, the clan has 125 members on Kyoto and 75 on Hikone base.
Ships belonging to the clan: 30 tanto, 25 katana, 20 tachi, 15 nodachi, 3 hachiman and one kagutsuchi.
All members of the clan have a basically training of pilot and warrior, men and women. After, each member decides how he wants to specialize himself (fighter, engineer, teacher…)
Currency: Shōri ka shi (Victory or Death)
The clan has a Merchant section, led by the uncle of Genkishi, Akira. The ship use in this section is a stolen Akegata, took from Samura in Honshu system, near Hikone base.

A Brief Background: Eldest son of Doto Karagura, he was born on Kyoto the 11th February 797 AS, and current leader of the clan. He learned along with his cousin the bushido under the direction of his uncle. He started to fly in 809 AS in Chugoku with a group of young men and women on an old katana. He became quickly the best of his class and he took the lead of the group. After 4 years, he was sent to Ryuku base to learn how to fight enemies of Blood Dragons. At 19 years old, he has been decorated to have saved a golden chrysanthemum patrol from a Samura trap. After his father death, he returned to Kyoto to take the lead of the clan and bring Karagura in a better position in the Blood Dragon society. Today, he wants to continue his goal to bring back Hideyoshi followers to their rightful place in Kusari and to lynch Samura dogs who have betrayed them.

A Brief Background: Second son of the Doto Karagura, he was born on Kyoto the 23th July 800 AS. In the same way of his eldest brother, he learned bushido with his uncle. At the age of 14 years old, he was sent at Hikone base as punishment to have flown his father ship, a B69-R "Nodachi" Blood Dragon Bomber. The punishment quickly turned into a reward in fact, because he learned how to fly bombers. After 5 years of training, he came back at the death of his father on Kyoto base to help his brother. He inherited of the ship of his father, the bomber that he had flown 5 years before.

Age: 17

A Brief Background: Third children of the Karagura clan daimyo, she was born on Kyoto the 21th June 803 AS. When she was young, she was always fighting with boys of her age. When she was 8 years old, her father decided that she could become a great warrior and he taught her how to fly a B05-S “Tachi” Blood Dragons Very Heavy Fighter. Just before his father death, he had bought her a Tachi recently restored at Mito shipyard. At her father's death, she swore that she wouldn't marry until Blood Dragons return to their rightful place in Kusari.
