The Salvager and PvP Death - KaiserDietz - 07-01-2014 So I've run into a problematic situation before, in which I haven't been sure whether to report or not, and it goes something like this. My Xenos flies to the Texas scrap fields to find some dirty junkers. After searching a bit, I find a Salvager ploughing away, fully equipped with mining lasers. I approach the junker, do my RP, and open fire, to destroy him. He flees to Beaumont, docks and comes out guns-blazing with full gunboat turrets. So the question here is, does the transport cease to be a transport, and then is unable to undock, or does this cessation make it essential a new instance of the character, and allowed to reengage? Additionally, since we assume its made the mistake of only mounting lasers, did it ever participate in PvP? RE: The Salvager and PvP Death - Lythrilux - 07-01-2014 If he docks, it counts as a PvP death in the sense that he's only allowed to come back to the system to trade. If he docks with mining turrets after you've shot him a bit, then comes back out with gunboat turrets and attacks you then he's breaking the rules.
