Source: Planet Junyo, Shikoku System An old man in traditional clothes appears from the midst of the working people in the fish processing workshop, cleaning his hands from the work he had been doing. Turning to the camera, he proceeds to make an unrefined bow, common of the peasantry of the less vibrant worlds of the Kusari House. Greetings to the members of the esteemed and prosperous Samura, chief amongst all the names in Kusari, second only to the Imperial line of old times. A special greetings to Ichiro Takahashi-sama, who I have done some business from time to time. I am humbly known as The Fisherman, and we have met some times during the course of the auspicious development of Planet Junyo works. At this point the man makes a signal, and all the workers stop their tasks, assembling behind the old man in cohesive group. About 50 or so men and women were visible on the screen. Me and many people of our community would like to express our thanks in your efforts to improve the wellbeing of all living in our planet we humbly call home, and that we will keep making our best to aid and provide retribution to those who aid our community. The man makes a deep bow, quite different in quality from the one he had made before, and is mimicked by his workers, who all shout in unison: "ARIGATO GOZAIMASHITA!" After a few seconds, the Fisherman tells them to return to work, and continues talking. As you might have noticed, we are in one of the Takarabune Company many workshops an small factories spread all over Junyo. Our company has expanded greatly in the business of mariculture and pearl production, and most recently we have taken strides in shipping services as well. Our company aims to become an important producer and distributer of marine and food products in and outside Kusari in the coming years, with the heavens blessing if possible. With our presentation concluded, I would like to inquire about potential forms of collaboration and partnership between both companies. Although I'm aware that Samura occupies itself with many different markets, I believe Samura knowledge can complement our expertise in the field, and aid us in areas in which we are more inexperienced. I eagerly await your reply, and any thoughts you might bring on this matter. This was the Fisherman, Chief Supervisor of the Takarabune Company. Until next time. ----=Message end==----- RE: To Samura Industries - From the Takarabune Company - WesternPeregrine - 07-12-2014 Takarabune Company -=Boosting Signal=-
RE: To Samura Industries - From the Takarabune Company - farmerman - 07-13-2014 Konnichiwa Fisherman-san, It is always good to hear from you. As a fellow resident of Planet Junyo, I certainly admire the progress you are making for both your company as well as the planet. As for more business-related matters, Samura appreciates the fine help you have given in our projects. Closer relation would be greatly preferred? What all did you have in mind? We are willing to offer you ownership on one of the new offices we are constructing to meet the growing needs of the planet. Located along the northeastern coast of the Ishizuki Plateau, it is ideally located for working with our growing pearl operations as it would be just east of our primary research facility. We could arrange factory space to be built as needed adjacent if you are interested. For your cooperation and assistance, we are willing to sell below the general asking price. We are also happy to allow you full docking access to both of our less accessible stations, Itabashi and Shiojiri. Likewise, we can add you to our bounty claimants list if your ships are well enough armed. And lastly, we will hereby recognize your achievements by increasing the payment tier in which your organization is represented within our Planet Junyo expansion payout scheme. Did you have any additional thoughts in mind for how we can expand our business relations? Arigato, Ichiro Takahashi RE: To Samura Industries - From the Takarabune Company - WesternPeregrine - 07-13-2014 Establishing connection 40% ... 70% 100% Link established, receiving feed. Source: Planet Junyo, Shikoku System Takahashi-sama, I thank you for your reply. It is good to see our efforts are well received by Samura, and the news and offers you present bring me a sensation of achievement, in such a short time that we managed to start operating beyond our home. We will gladly take a look on real estate offers, and when our analysts are done with a development draft, we will send to department responsible for that area. Regarding the orbital bases access, I believe that it is clear that our company currently has little interest in the mineral markets, as we specialize in planetary agriculture and mariculture. However, I feel we can provide a little contribution to your business with such access. Given that we sometimes make shipments to Planet Tomioka, we could on the return trip bring some of the mineral stock from Shiojiri back to your installations at Itabashi. We could provide some ease on your transportation, and obtain some revenue from the service. As for the bounty board, we have been blessed by the Fortunes with little incidents occurring until now. As we are building our security detachment, perhaps they would be interested in getting some bonuses in the course of their regular work, when they blow up some pesky Blood Dragons, or those hideous Junkers. Since you mentioned a research facility, and indeed my fishermen have been talking about that large complex near the plateau, I would like to ask something. I have read an article from some scientist in Honshu about research on our mainstay product, the Junyo Pearls, and it's rarer variant the Fire Pearls. It seems that there are potential applications of Pearls in the creation of medical products, and some sort of lubricant or paint. Perhaps a paint for ships, one that might have some interesting properties. Unfortunately, we don't have the personnel or resources to make the research on our own, although we have a lot of the prime matter. My suggestion is to create a research partnership in this area, and share the benefits of the results. We are interested in investing with funds and products for such a research, in consideration to the needs of such a project. I urge you to take this proposal as a new opportunity to enter another untapped market, and maintain the expansive reach from which the name Samura is well known. The Fisherman. Takarabune Company. RE: To Samura Industries - From the Takarabune Company - farmerman - 07-31-2014 Konnichiwa Fisherman-san, We appear to have had trouble receiving your communication without the signal boost. Perhaps I can dispatch some technicians to check on that for you? Samura would be greatly interested in expanding research into potential uses for Junyo's marvelous pearls. We have some related research operations currently on Shinjuku which we are hoping to transfer soon to Planet Junyo. If you could increase your pearl production, I'm sure need will rise to meet supply. In addition, we have ensured you are properly documented for our stations and for payment for destruction of our enemies. Arigato, Ichiro Takahashi RE: To Samura Industries - From the Takarabune Company - WesternPeregrine - 08-04-2014 Establishing connection 40% ... 70% 100% Link established, receiving feed. Source: Planet Junyo, Shikoku System Konbanwa Takahshi-san. I thank you for your suggestion about the communications. It is odd, since our equipment should suffer no loss up to the orbital relays. Perhaps some maintenance is required at the Junyo docking ring level? Our company's transmitter turned out fine and in full capability. I had received confirmation a few days ago about the new credentials Samura has provided to our humble company. We look forward to contribute more ambitiously than before in the development of Kusari trade and prosperity, for the benefit of the Takarabune and Samura of course. On my visit to the orbital station Itabashi in New Tokyo I was impressed by the expansion works your company had just recently concluded, namely their spacious warehouses, rivaling those of the equally famed Osaka storage depot. Upon realizing this, I decided to come forward to a proposal that may be to the liking of Takahashi-san and the remaining leadership of the prestigious Samura. Due to our business in exporting and importing agricultural and natural goods from many regions of Sirius, and the importance of some Samura goods in this trade, we would like to rent some of your currently vacant warehouses to accommodate some of our imports and transit goods, as well as some Kusari products from more remote regions. These products would come and go to these warehouses, and then be shipped out at another occasion to their final destination, making our operations faster and easier to manage with such a central node of commerce. I feel that Samura would also benefit from it, not only from the rent and and usage of the warehouse potential, but also from the interest of third parties who would flock to Itabashi to acquire such exotic goods to their own business. As a first proposal, we of the Takarabune would like to propose a trial with the following commodities: Rheinland Blue Jillies, Gallic Wine, Rheinlandic Cigars, Samura own brands of Rum and HydroGro. Warehouse space for each commodity would be around 10000 units, and the Takarabune would try in its capabilities to guarantee a steady stock. Since I don't any information of what current business plans Samura currently uses in regards to Itabashi warehouses, I shall refrain from proposing a initial rent price. I hope to hear your and your associates thoughts on this matter soon. With the utmost respect The Fisherman Takarabune Company Chief Supervisor RE: To Samura Industries - From the Takarabune Company - WesternPeregrine - 08-25-2014 Takarabune Company -=Boosting Signal=-
RE: To Samura Industries - From the Takarabune Company - farmerman - 08-27-2014 Konnichiwa once more Fisherman-san, This is a very interesting proposal you have offered us. I have spoken to our directors, and we are quite happy with the idea. It would improve business and increase the availability of those goods, which would benefit all. We are willing to rent this space to your company in exchange for your continued support in our endeavors in expanding operations on Planet Junyo, and other similar projects. We can wave the cost if you were to guarantee five shipments of needed goods per month. After these, we will, of course, pay the normal bonus rates. What do you think of this proposal?
