Ralf Warren: Good night ladies and gents! I am talking directly from the Central Biodome at Shasta Orbital Skyhook, in the beautiful system of Baffin. Behind me you can see the planet Eris, a gas giant considered by the Discordians as their goddess.

I came here to Baffin today, together with my CNN crew, to cover a Zoner meeting that was about to take place at this station, hosted by the Temporary Autonomous Zoners, the TAZ. I am here not only to cover the event, but also to participate of the summit, as administrator of Lanzarote Base.

Zoners from all over Sirius were gathering here. A really nice show for the eyes! Several different classes of ships of the most variate sizes and shapes were arriving one after the other. The biggest Zoner groups and companies, as well as several base administrators and independent zoners were attending the call.

The big traffic of ships even caught the attention of other groups from nearby systems. Soon, the airspace around the station was practically jammed.


So, that ended up attracting even more attention to the place. That's when the Order vessels appeared. It is not very clear up to this point, but the fact is that the Order claims that the electromagnetic field, visible in the images, means that the TAZ flagship could be under Nomad influence, and probably some of the people aboard the vessel, and even this station. When the TAZ vessel refused to be boarded, the Order opened fire on it!


Soon after, the Order Overwatch issued a communiqué open to all Zoners, asking for his allies to help in, quote, "[...]disabling "Persephone" for purpose of boarding and cleansing of Nomad infestation onboard. If that will be found impossible, complete destruction of vessel is... disapointing but still acceptable solution", end quote. An attitude totally unexpected for most present here. The same note also requested that all TAZ personel submit to an Order medical procedure to determine if they are, quote again, "[...]a host to a Nomad or a human being", end quote.

At that point, feeling threathened, the TAZ leadership issued a total lockdown of Shasta. No ship docks; armed Templar Guards everywhere; most people present evacuated to more secure areas, while other where disarmed and acompanied by guards; all communications are jammed. We have an authorization from the TAZ to make this transmission, since they say they want all zoners to see the, according to them, Order transgressions. In fact, I confronted Skarsi Wyrdmake, Pope of the TAZ, about the lockdown. This is his answer:

What we could gather of information up to this point is that, while the Order claims that the TAZ flagship and possibly some of its members could be under "Nomad influence", the TAZ leadership believes that some Zoners may be conspiring with the Order to create this situation, perhaps to get the ship or capture one of the TAZ members. We are going after more information on this possibility. One of our sources, that doesn't want to be identified, says that some omicron zoners might be involved. This source also said we would soon have news about that.

Let's hope so! All I can say is that, for now, a tense mood takes place here at Shasta. Most people were moved to safe and guarded places, and the folks still here at the main hall in the central dome are preparing themselves as if for a war. They said they expect the Order to try to invade the station. We hope that it doesn't end up in open fight...
