Hi
I thought all chat in the system chatline goes right across Sirius, including NY/Liberty, New Berlin, Tokyo, Omirons and so on.
Is that the case? Or is system chat localised to each particlar "city" system?
So someone chatting in system chat in NY would not be heard in say.. the Tokyo system?

Nope, system chat can only be heard in the same system the sender is in. So if you send a message in system chat in NY, only the players in NY will receive it.

System chat only broadcasts to the system you are in.
NY system chat is only seen by ships in NY and ect
Global chat that broadcasts to all systems at once is reserved for admins
and a few newbs that have flhook rights from the old days

System chat extends only to the system your in local extends to only people on radar
