Refreshing. While I'm sure your "counterpart" might have reported its actions as exclusive to the Lance, its threats were clearly directed to Malta as a whole. Unforgivable.

Where would we be if we took to bed with those who, as eloquently as you, placated the Lance with olive sprigs after threatening us with some imbecilic form of destruction? First impressions are more meaningful than I'm sure you understand. What can you offer Malta? Inorganic beings with no appreciation of the Orange and its blessings, a form of blasphemy against the Nacion itself. What can you offer the Lance that we do not already have? Will you distribute the Orange for us faithfully? We have an extensive supply network the corporations of the sector can only dream of. Will you provide us ships? We have the best pilots and fighters in the history of "organic"-kind.

Peace and trust must be earned. They are not ours to give away haphazardly.

But in our grace we will listen to whatever proposals you may have.

Even I do not understand the phrase of the bed, I understand the meaning of believing in a first impression. Exactly this was also the reason that caused the conflict. We did not understand this scale of individuality and the difference between cultures of the mankind.

We know that you network and influence is not that far spreaded that it passes beyond Omicron-74. We think that you already have information about these regions, that a lot things of interest lies in there. Doesn't it generate attention in you to expand maltese network beyond this space?

A lot of assumptions on your part, claiming that you know of any limits on our influence. While you may be referring more accurately to "presence," I'm sure you're getting at the few of us you see in the deep Omicrons. We've found very little that interests Malta closer to the Corsair core systems, and our manpower is better spent in more populated, more "addicted," systems. While I certainly mean no offense in my statement, a lot of "things of interest" for you have no such status for us. The Omicrons serve as a battlefield for us against the starving menace found there and no more.

Can you offer anything other than information we already have?
