inside flap of the box
The inside flap is the prelude to the vanilla campaign, and it references something called New Florida. Weather it is a system, planet, or other object, it is not in the game. We should add it and fix the inconsistency. Since the same part also references Eco-terrorists near it, it would probably be near or in California, as that has gaian zoi and is in liberty. (Planet Maine is in New York so it wouldn't be unusual to put a object named after one state in a system named after another.)

This is most likely a remnant pre-Microsoft development, and is probably referring to Planet Los Angeles / California system.

I believe they made a mistake, that actually meant the date before settlement.

Microsoft had intended to add additional packs to the game, I remember it vividly, but then the game had so many players they scrapped the larger updates because it was not economical to make it available to the approx. 10,000 players that were playing at the time. Microsoft pulled the plug on the development of the game in 2003 and pulled the plug later on the Universal Servers.
