NOTICE OF AGREEMENT - Laowai - 09-14-2008
NOTICE OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CORSAIR NATION AND THE COLONIAL REMNANT:
In recognition of the new threat from a common enemy to both our peoples and indeed, all of humanity - that being the apparent cooperation existing between the Outcasts and the species known as Nomads - this agreement signifies a formalizing of a military relationship between The Corsair Nation and the Colonial Remnant.
We agree that this marriage of convenience, adoration or veneration of the Nomads by the Outcasts has now reached a point where it is a threat that must be answered.
Knowing the nature of the Nomads, we cannot know which of the outcasts are aware of this threat, who is infected, or who is actively cooperating; and as such, both powers conclude that militarily we have no option but to view them collectively.
As such and as an answer to this new threat that we all now face, The Corsair Council of Elders and the Colonial Remnant Quorum of Twelve have concluded the following terms of agreement:
For the duration of the Outcast/Nomad threat, up until such time as said threat has receded the Corsair council offers the Colonial Remnant the following:
1: The CR will have free and unfettered access to and throughout Corsair Space, known territories and disputed regions whereupon such access does not impinge on the sovereignty or integrity of any Corsair ally or third party with which the CR has no known relationship.
2: The CR will have free and unfettered docking and resuply rights at any and all Corsair planets and Space stations, as well as Tripoli shipyard. Basing rights in this area will extend for the duration of the threat as agreed by the CR and Corsair leadership
3: The CR will have permission a select number of Corsair manufactured "Tizona" weapons for use in their general operations.
4: The Corsairs agree to share any intelligence pertaining to the Outcast/Nomad threat at the request of the CR leadership.
For the duration of the Outcast/Nomad threat, up until such time as said threat has receded the Colonial Remnant offers the Corsair Nation the following:
1:Corsair forces will have free and unfettered access to CR space, known territories and disputed regions whereupon such access does not impinge on the sovereignty or integrity of any CR ally or third party with which the Corsairs have no known relationship.
2: The Corsairs will have free and unfettered docking and resupply rights at any and all CR planets and Space stations. In addition; The Corsairs will have permission to station a military wing in the Tau 44 System to be used directly on Outcast/Nomad forces. These forces will aid and abet CR forces against Nomad/Outcast forces and interdict Cardamine smugglers in CR space, Basing rights in this area will extend for the duration of the threat as agreed by the CR and Corsair leadership.
3: The CR will actively take measures to interrupt and hinder the movement of Cardamine through their space. This includes but is not limited to the destruction of cargo and/or the vessels carrying it.
4: The CR will agree to share any intelligence pertaining to the outcast/Nomad threat as requested by the Corsair council.
