It'd be nice if I could get the KNF to post here, I'm really hoping this works...
anyways, I want to know how relations are between the Order and Kusari police/navy/government - primarily for the reason that I want to get a kusari ship for my order character.
Now, unlike liberty, Kusari is not directly hostile to the Order. The Order is also allied directly with hogosha, who have quite a bit of influence within Kusari. As far as I'm aware, none of the lawful (Samura, Kishiro, KNF, KSP) or quasi-legal factions (FA/Hogosha) in kusari are in any way hostile towards the Order.
Further, outcasts are a direct threat in kusari and have ties with nomads, which would warrant some measure of help from the Order against them. One last thing to add to the mix... my order character (aki kimura) which i've had for quite a while is kusari by descent, and has ties there.
So, what I'm thinking is that Aki.Kimura becomes a diplomatic emissary/representative between the Order and the Kusari Government, perhaps an RP exchange of order technology with the KNF can take place to further solidfy this - in exchange for one Kusari warship to serve as the diplomatic flagship between Kusari and the Order.
Thoughts?

oh and something I forgot to add - Aki's got an order guard tag now, and is fully hostile to almost every faction in bretonian space (so it's not like i'd be strutting through bretonia with a kusari ship), probably due to allegiance with the corsairs.

I dont see any reason for the Kusari and the Order to be hostile or anything, I would think they would be neutral....But neutral doesnt mean they would be willing to give the order one of their ships, especially since Kusari is at war, and I doubt they would take a warship, which is an incredible investment, off the front lines, and give it to the Order. Kusari doesn't have the same problems with nomads that other houses have, we do not have raids against us often, and the systems around Tohoku are for the most part empty, or Dragon/GC controlled. I think if this were to happen, the technology you offer to Kusari, would have to represent a quantum leap in technology development for the Kusari.

well, in-rp nobody but the order have access to supernova cannons. We've also got order capship turrets which are more powerful than the kusari equivalents.
And, as I said, with my character/ship being a diplomatic emissary or liason to kusari, I'd be able to help in some manner with their war effort. I cant attack bretonian ships, but I could deal with outcasts who are causing trouble for Kusari in the taus.
Further, the Order is a fairly rich group, especially with zoner backing - we could help fund the war effort 'under the table'.

Blood Dragons - closely tied to the Order, or at least they should be.
KNF - unfriendly.
Hogosha - friendly, but without KNF knowing it. It's a secret arrangement.
Of course, he was infested, but who can guarantee that Shogun himself isn't infested at the moment?
Order doesn't need Kusari ships, they have their Corsair allies.
Also, I would be a bit patient and wait to see which ships is Order going to get in 4.85.
No need to make such a huge step just a month or two before the release?

As long as there are no 'infections' the Order has no buisness in Kusari.
KNF will be neutral, execept capital vessels of course.
And please screw this reference to this singleplayer story crap.

Order and Kusari...well we're neutral for the time being. To be honest, I have Bretonia hostile on all my Bs| characters...probably only because of missions from the Corsairs (since Isis doesn't have enough mission variety or there are none to begin with). I used to pop into Bretonia now and again, to go system exploring, but that was way back when (4.82 and 4.83...).
To be honest, I was contemplating running out to the Hogosha depot in Tokyo to pick up a pair of their Drake Type D Plasma Cannons (since I'm on this crusade of having very mixed projectile velocities on my fighter) but wondered if I'd either be forced out of Kusari space by KNF/KSP or be shot at. (Their NPCs, however, are friendly on my fighter's rep sheet.)
As such for the time being Black Squadron and other people with Order characters are for the time being trying to change our relations with Liberty before anything else. And if we were to open diplomatic relations with the Kusari, I would not send my brand new Osiris out there to talk to them. I would be out there in my Viper. As for the Kusari giving Order pilots their ships (both fighter and capital class), that's out the window since they're at war with Bretonia, plus our ships are supposed to be all advanced and high tech like. And with the hopeful soon release of 4.85 and probably its betas, we wouldn't need to have their ships.
And since I mentioned it (and I'm sorry if I'm derailing the thread from Tenacity's original post), is it really OoRP to mount a pair of Drake Type D's on my fighter?

Sorry to ruin the party if there was one but Yngen seems to be right.
Unless I missed some documents by the way, Governor Tekagi is still a 'playable card' for the Naval Forces.
So unless you wish to face several unpleasant questions after being put into custody and eventually released 24h later, I strongly advise not to cross Kusari borders with an Order ship/transponder.
But things might change...
