First Wrong place to post this problem. I would post it in tutorials and support.
Second Sometimes computers do weird things and things go wrong sorry,
You might never be able
A. to get the character back
B. to be compensated for the loss
Thirdly It may have been deleted deliberately for a good reason by the admins
By the way from another new guy to who I think is a new guy welcome to Discovery
(If you mean your account on the forums was deleted this is the right place to put it but its not so clear in your post)

Calvert the gentleman means he lost his characters in game and it was not his computer it's a known bug.
darkelf make a post in the thread linked bellow, it seems you are not alone
with this problem and admins are already working on it.
