Errrr... I've got Purple Goddess turrets on mine. I'm not too sure where you can buy them. But there are LOTS of places. I would just try the Corsair Unknown. Both planets.

You can also get Purple Goddesses at Freeport 11 in Omicron Delta... there's other places too but they're slipping my mind at the moment. Don't know why you'd need them though, a transport's best defense is to flee.

Er.. Why do you think that?
Because:-
1) it's hard to hit something thats dodging all the time,
2) your a much bigger target then any VHF,
3) most traders run/log off at the first sign of trouble,
4) if a transport or train has to fight it's as good as dead already.
I've got one trader and it's got a single class 2 turret for looting any wrecks I find, thats it.

I had a liner and loaded it with battle razors, destroyer missiles, and a tizona.
Try that for a light combat/trading ship. :P
