Heya
I just wanna ask, Tarder , lets call him X meets 2 pirates with the same tag/faction/ID, they are together in that place (Read like standing 50m next to each other) lets call them A and B.
A: Stop and pay 3 millions for passage
X: *pays 3 millions for passage*
A: Thanks.
X:*Starts moving*
B Stop, not so fast, now pay 3 millions for passage to me.
Is that ok?

Honestly i'd say no. Both pirates should work together as a single fee then share the loot.

depends on if they're in group or not (yeah, i know, metagaming). If they're in group, it's definately not cool, but if not, then it's 50/50.

Honestly, I'd say no.
Two pirates should only pirate once in the same area... they can be in different areas in a system, but if they're together, they'd be either competing for the tax (so they'd be shooting each other) or cooperating.
So RPwise - they should be fighting or co-opeating IMO

What is wrong with two pirates working together lawfulls work together teamwork can accomplish more than a single person can
There is nothing in the rules that i can find against this the pirates might not want to split the loot but collect individually

I'd say no, it doesn't seem right.
Otherwise next thing you know you'll be passing through a group of 5 pirates, each wanting their 3mil.

As said above me...
If they are grouped, taxing a trader twice through another pirate in the group that is not cool. I'm not going to say against the rules, because I'm not aware of a rule that would be specific to this occasion, but you could class it as PvP abuse.
If the pirates split the general tax asked between them, for example. Pirate 1 asks for 4 million, and its split 50/50 between the two pirates, then that is fine I believe. In other words its together 4 mill each way is crazy.
If the pirate is not grouped however its every pirate for themselves. Simple as that. If they are on the other side of the system, who can tell if they are working together.
Ill have to double check the rules, I believe they are getting updated soon. So if this particular case isn't covered in detail, it probably will be in the update.:cool:
