Well before anyone says this model isn't very good/original - I know that, I was just messing around with the Nomad LF's model and I came up with the Spike fighter on accident and I thought it would make a good gap filler between the Nomad Assassin (VHF) and Nomad LF. So I present to you the Nomad Heavy Fighter nicknamed "Spike" for short or "Spike Fighter."

The idea of this ship comes from Treewyrm's Nomad Assassin, except it is a downgraded version (the Assassin is a Very Heavy Fighter and the Spike fighter is a Heavy fighter). The RP reason for this could be that the Spike fighter is a less "mature" Assassin and is in the state of growing, but I don't think I have any say in that. If you guys like it or think you can do something cool or better with it (trust me I'm no model maker) then post it here or PM me and I will send/post for you.

So what do you think?

good model - only problem i see there is that it looks just too similar to the LF. - so for any enemy, its not clear untill its scanned what type of ship he is fighting. - maybe you can make it a bit more distinguishable from the light fighter.

dunno - a longer spine or something -

looks good but unless the keepers have requested a hf i do not see the point to it since the general public can only fly the light fighter
good to see hidden talent among the masses keep it up

Ok I'll try to make it a bit longer, maybe I can add more spikes to it too. Hmmm... I'll think of something.

Thanks:)Ya that's true too, but the reason why I posted it was just for the fun of it. Maybe Treewyrm might see this somehow and he might like it, all of which I doubt but I guess it is worth a try.

Keep the suggestions coming guys!

Concerning the hardpoints:

It must be HpMount and HpTractor_Source without any number behind. Also a HpPilot is demanded.
At last you did forget the HpScanner01 or HpRadar01.

Thanks for letting me know.
However, the screenshot I have of the CMP was unfinished (it was just a test).
But when I export the model from Milkshape again I will be sure to fix that.

Thanks for the help again.

not bad. looks too normal like nomad ships from normal campaign. perhaps make the spikes larger or have like triangle spikes as fins or wings coming out the side.
