I have. I have gotten two of my post locked and one deleted. All while trying to get an explanation. Has anyone one had a similar experience?
Mine was over a denied ship request that I RPed for. Then when denied I was told that unlawfuls should not have a lawful cap ship, yet another unlawful faction does. One of the admins very own.
Now I hate pointing at the other kid and saying "why cant I have one" but the fact of the matter is that I have not recieved an answer.
Then when I post my discussion with admin to show that Im not makeing this up it get made invisible and i get publicly threatend.
And while I know I'm not liked by all, and my RP is not enjoyed by everyone. I also know that anyone who was in a position to complain on the appropriate forum did not. The admin made a decision unilaterially and said no and then locked it so they would not have to endure input from the community.
I had others speak up for me that I didnt think I would but that is convienently gone now. I was threatened to be removed from the forums if I posted a scype message of other on here.
Now I was in the message too so its every bit my property as it is thiers but the threat stands. Whats more is I got a admin notice in a place not appropreate for admin warnings, for the only thing I could guess is maximum embarassment.
I try to reason and all I recieve is evasions. So, I will continue to post and get public opinion, as the public or the community means more to me than admin.
Sorry admin your not gods here your servents. I REALLY appreicate your efforts here and you do 90% good here but this is wrong.
You will have to ban me or talk to me for real not some batters circle where you take turns saying no with no reasons and attempt back and forward handed insults.
When you look at my record the only folks who I fight with is admin. I had a arguement with ROS when I started. However I learned alot there. I was wrong but I learned alot as they could not shut me up but had to talk and fight with me. Now, I have nothing but respect. Admin however just locks you. And in my case I was locked with no one complaining. Admin just locked it and said no. Thats no how the special RP thread is supposed to work is it?
I believe Igiss said it would be approved if no motivated, involved players had any unsatisfied concerns. However there were none. Folks know we stick to our protocals and those who slip dont slip for long we fix them.
I have no history of being sanctioned or being a bad person here in fact if Ive stepped on your toes tell me in PMs or make a Scornstar hurt my feelings thread.
Anyway I'm not going to discount the possibility that I am wrong but right now this smacks of personal agenda. So, if Harvester_00 is out whoreing you let it be known. It was posted for who deal with it know but now its locked.
Just remember how would you like to be locked out of your own thread if the only feedback you got was a single admin saying no and locking it. Not a single player posted a complaint and there were more days to go.
Please if you are going to comment about my choice there then read our back story before you make a uninformed statment saying its a "I stole it lulz" verbal defication. The only people who post against it are folks who would not be effected by it normally unless they came to our base of ops.
ANyway this is FYI and while I exspect it will be made invisible I will copy and paste it to word and post it other places if I have too. Censoreship is wrong and only supports agendas.
The facts are this admin dont want you to see how they respond when tested to respond intelligently.

Honestly, an admin should never be motivated by personal opinion or bias. Base your actions on the server/forum rules, and the facts at hand, dont go locking people down just because you feel like playing god and dont like someone.

To be honest, when it all comes down to it, it is the admins decision as to accept or reject something. There is nothing that us(the community) can do about that. Now, when I say admins, I dont just mean the server, I mean the site too. If they all(or majority) agree to something, then in the end thats what happens. To be honest I followed your most recent Harvester topic and I have no opinion on it, thus why I havent posted a accept/reject comment in it. But you have to remember that admins are the ones that either accept or reject. As to the locking/deleting of topics, the admins did it to keept the community looking good, and its probably nothing against you. I have had quite a few sites in the past and one of the main things is to keep the community clean and in order. That means any directed insults, anything that will discourage other people, and of course, what ever the operators(admins) see to be unfit to stay in the community.
Most likely this topic will also get locked/deleted but in the admins view its for the best intrests of the community. I really dont know the admins and yours past history towards each other but if I was you I wouldn't take offense to it. Things on sites get locked/deleted all the time but its no reason to go ranting and raving about it. Just think about the community as a whole and not just one single person. Trust me, I know how it is to have things I put just......disappear. Its happened to me at least 10 times in the past, and after actually building and owning a site, I saw why its done.
So, for now just accept it and go over your Harvester story and load out and rethink it. Not for yourself, not for the admins, of course not for me, but for the community as a whole. And I bid you good luck on it.
Edit: Tenacity is correct, admin decisions should not be based on personal biase but rather the rules and regulations that have been set. Also one more thing to add, Did the community get a chance to voice thier opinions on the Harvester subject, as in in the past. I dont remember there being a too much conversation about it this recent time except from admins....

Censorship does not mean handling things that are going nowhere very very fast. Censorship does not mean removing content that is supposed to be private.
Give it up already. Are you trying to martyr yourself here? Because the last few things you've written tonight have damn well ensured that there will be very few flowers on your tomb. Do everyone a favor and preserve your dignity while you still have it. Who profits from you getting yourself banned? Seriously... walk away from the computer. Bake yourself a cake. Sleep. Then come back fresh and free of anger, and go on with your life.
EDIT: Right, um, the above paragraph shouldn't have been that harsh. Upon re-reading what you actually wrote here and talking with 13cent, it seems I went a little farther than I intended too... I'm going to take what I meant as my own advice and take a nice break from all this drama. I'm not going to start flinging out examples of how the admins do indeed screw up, nor reasons why this was just, nor any of that. I'm going to suggest that everybody take a break and look at this later after clearing our respective heads.
