Freelancer Weapons - Klaw117 - 09-23-2008 Ok, so I want to make a Freelancer char just for the heck of it, but I don't know what weapons they can and can't use. Since they travel around a lot, I would expect them to use one or two weapons from the areas where they explored. For my char, I wanted to use this: 2 Ultra Sunrails 2 CERBERUS Prototypes 2 Reaper Mk V's 1 Tizona del Cid Turret If I traveled to Bretonia, Liberty, Order, and Corsair space, I could THEORETICALLY use these weapons because I've spent time with those factions, right? The problem is that the Corsair weapon seems OORP and I don't really have a good reason to use them (I just wanted to try them, but I don't want to do it on OpenSP). I don't want to have guns with different weapon speeds, but I don't want to seem OORP. There's no other shieldbuster with 600m/s projectile speed, but the guns that I want to use don't match the 750m/s Imp. Debby (I want to use codes, and weapons from 2 different Houses). The best RP weapons would be: 2 Imp. Debbies 2 Hvy. Flashpoints 2 Buckshots or House weapons or POSSIBLY even Order 1 Buckshot Turret Unfortunately, this is kind of boring, so I really don't want to use these. Anyone got a suggestion on what to do? Freelancer Weapons - Orin - 09-23-2008 You can use whatever you like, you just may recieve in-game consequences for using certain weapons. As for sanctions, using something like Krakens and Tizonas would undoubtedly get you in trouble. Freelancer Weapons - Klaw117 - 09-23-2008 Well of course I wouldn't go THAT OORP. Freelancer Weapons - SanjitVignesh - 09-25-2008 Try using the Bretonia Adv.Splitters or Outcast Wyrm. Tachyon weapons are always good. Freelancer Weapons - Othman - 09-25-2008 With the Sunrails and Order-Corsairs line, you might want to have a brief explanation of the reason and form of their acquirement process at least. Other than that, for the 750ms line, I would suggest sticking to the Imp Deb, Adv. Splitter and Buckshots. Freelancer Weapons - Klaw117 - 09-25-2008 The problem is that the Adv. Splitters have a speed of 700m/s while everything else is 750m/s. It's not a big difference, but I'm a perfectionist, so I want to avoid using that. |
