Discovery mod is not updating - Nike Kingston - 12-31-2014
I installed Discovery mod from CANNON's guide, but i can't update it from 48.70 to 48.77, DSUpdate.exe isn't working. Help me please!

Launch the game as admin, it will update it once you do.

add disco folder to your virus checkers "allowed" list

I don't have any antivirus and all Windows security are off, freelancer.exe and DSUpdate.exe still just starting the game without any updating

you are using the correct exe, not the one in c:\program files\microsoft\freelancer
its the one in youy appdata etc etc

Uninstall Freelancer completely from you PC and do a clean install. If that doesn't work, we'll drag the real experts out of their caves.
