Weapon Platform Adjustments



Briefdescription:
Our scientists will adjust the Weapon Platforms in a 3-Stage-Development System. After all 3 stages are completed they will put them together and hope to be able to enhance the weapon platform systems/weapons.
Stage |1 |-> Adjusting the Powercore / Enhancing the Powercore
Stage |2 |-> Adjusting the given Software / Enhancing Software - as well Targeting systems
Stage |3 |-> Weapon improvements


Stage |1 Completed : 50 % |-> Adjusting the Powercore / Enhancing the Powercore

To adjust the Powercore we will have to overclock the weapon platform powercore at every start up to 130 %. This is the only way to get the needed advanced power for the new weapon systems. It is a risky scenario but with an improved software it would be not a big deal. In Stage |1 we will do these adjustments to the powercore itself manually.

This blueprint below will show you how we will add Xenomass into the powercore on its startup so we can overclock it up to 130 %.

Stage |2 Completed : 25 % |-> Adjusting the given Software / Enhancing Software - as well Targeting systems

In this development stage we will focus on enhancing/adjusting/optimizing the given software. The main goal of this stage is to have a better aim acuraccy for the single turrets. This will be more energy efficient, as we would not waste that much shots and it would hit the enemy a lot more then the common UA 501-B Weapon Platform Targeting Sys.

The blueprint below will show you the Alpha stage of our new "UA 571-C" Interface layout. It will offer a lot more features for the platforms as well the support for Cybernetic Autonomous Tech™. If you don't know what CAT (Cybernetic Autonomous Tech is, then you should read Database entry #02)

Below you will see another 'strange' blueprint. This one is the V0.01 of our 'OC-Loader' >> Overclocked Loader. This programm will be used to monitor and secure the adjusted powercore systems.

Stage |3 Completed : 5 % |-> Weapon improvements

This is the last stage of the Weapon Platform Improvements. In this stage we will improve the weapons damage output itself by changing the weapons frequencies continually. You do for sure know Laser/Plasma/Photonic weapons aye? Those all run on a different frequency so they deal different damage on different shields/hull types. Having a weapon that would switch between all those frequencies would be wonderfull or? How sad that this is impossible. But our scientists found out a way how they can use a Pulse cannon to imitate the frequency of a Laser weapon. It might sound weird but it is effective as energy wasting. Changing the frequence every second is a very big waste of energy and will scrap the guns very soon. So a probably good way would be to have a weapon frequence that covers at least 75 % of all. Our scientists are able to improve a weapon in such a way, that it is a laser weapon but deals x2 damage. However, this procedure costs 25 % more energy so we've adjusted the powercore.

Below you will find the first blueprint of our new weapon frequency that will cover at least 75 % of all weapon frequencies hopefully.

Cybernetic Advanced Warfare



Briefdescription:
CAW - Cybernetic Advanced Warfare. Bounty Hunters have a very demanding job. They are fighting not only in space against those Pirate Scum, they also fight them in their hideouts. Usually there's 1 Guild member against a whole bunch of pirates that he has to fight against, so we've decided to start experimenting around with the Humanoid Body and found out some very interesting stuff.

Now lets get this started. Below you will see a typical humanoid, weak isn't he? We've decided to add 5 adjustments. 2 leg armor adjustments, 2 arm armor adjustments and one for the head.
- Head: Advanced Targeting Adaptive Combat Systems©
- Arms: Multi Protective Shielding Combat Armor©
- Legs: High-Conduit Alloy-Armor©

After modifying the first 'test subjects' we've found out that this isn't any proper solution. They've changed a lot. Our... the subjects begun to ... behave not like we thought about. In the first incident we've lost 12 scientists, 47 Hunter and the test subject. It seems like we should close this department as soon as possible, it seems not to be the proper way of evolving.
