Hey guys, I want to unmount the JD3 off my Turtle does anyone have a POB I can use ?.

hello
try to make some free place in your ship, if you have fuel, sell it, if it is not sufficient sell some weapons to make enought place. it's dangerous to have these things unmounted, you risk to lose it! have you a pob or you want just stock your jd?

I want to remove so I can sell it, if I unmount and just not use the ship will it be safe until I sell??

Yes, if you unmount it it should still be on the ship. The main difference is that any unmounted equipment will drop off if the ship gets blown up.
So, if your not using the ship while waiting for a buyer, you can have it unmounted. If you're gonna use it, keep it mounted.

If you have a carrier, you'll be able to unmount it. If not, then you'll have to sell it to a PoB/Get an admin to take it of for you. If you have a carrier, unmount everything (Including weapons and shields) and send it to a player that you trust. Then unmount the JD Mk3 and then swap everything back.
You'll need 900 free cargo space to unmount it, but because Freelancer is slightly weird you require an additional 900 free cargo space, ontop of the already 900 cargo space that the JM has already taken up, to unmount it. No idea why, but in effect you'll need 1800 free cargo space to unmount it but only 900 to mount it.
If you unmount it and it stays on your ship and provided that you don't die, it'll be fine on your ship.

Sweet well ill just not use it till I sell it ! So ill need a POB for my turtle then or if a admin can just remove using there jedi mind powers !

Fastest way is too PM an admin and they will do it for you
