Bastet Mk II Setup please - [Raged]Jester - 01-23-2015 Hey guys, I have a order Heavy fighter Called "Bastet Mk II" but i need a good setup for it anyone have one? RE: Bastet Mk II Setup please - t0l - 01-23-2015 The Bastet is capable of any "normal" (debs/lasers, debs/whatevers) but it's unique in that it mounts 6 class 9s. Only one other fighter I know of can do this, and it's the Werewolf. It comes at a cost, as it has a rather small power core for it's size. You'll have to take your shots carefully if you use 2.00s. If you do, use Excaliburs, or wait until the next update to find out what the new meta is. Solaris is a very efficient codename, it's the 5.00 Heavy Flashpoint but with like 20 less energy used per shot. Dulzians are good to blind your opponent with. Phoenix seem good, but I don't have any personal experience. Other codenames (Blue Blaze, etc) are all bad. Have a decently ferm impact animation and allaround a good choice though by doing the math, you'd notice there's little other difference between them and your standard 4.0 refire weaponry. For whatever it's worth, unless I missed an update, it's one of the few codes that matches projectile speed and refire rate with the Type 2 Debs. RE: Bastet Mk II Setup please - Panzer - 01-23-2015 Believe me, buddy, no loadout would have helped you tonight in T37. Shoulda walked away instead of opening up on me. Still... Put on a pair of debilitators and the rest - faction guns matching the debs' fire rate and projectile speed. Although Phoenixes don't do as much damage as some of the class 8 4.0 guns, they do nearly as much and are much more efficient, and they match the debs. And they look cool. RE: Bastet Mk II Setup please - Sath - 01-23-2015 Go shotgun or go home 6 Heimdalls/Excaliburs/Claymores and a screamer mine, Mosquito CD, Any CM. And then, right click for win. RE: Bastet Mk II Setup please - Stefan_Steinar - 01-23-2015 i always used this 6x Nomad Cannons 1x Screamer Mine 1x Train Disruptor 1x Cheater Thruster 2.5 Armor no CM (i just dont like them - i dont run away i fight and win or die..) your energy on this ship will be gone very very fast with this config, but if you manage to hit your enemy with persion youre able to take him down very quick great EK is very helpful too RE: Bastet Mk II Setup please - Flash™ - 01-23-2015 Depends on what you can aim, really. We can all recommend setups, but it is still up to your aim for it to succeed in a battle. Choose what you think is easier for you to use, and more importantly, with what you are more effective. Our suggestions can't determine how effective you will be in battle with a certain setup. Try the recommended setups, and see how you do with them, and then choose the one you feel more comfortable with. If not, you can always try your own and play with the setups until you feel comfortable with it. Hope that helped. : ) RE: Bastet Mk II Setup please - Mímir - 01-23-2015 You should try to take advantage of the 6 class 9 slots, if possible. It also has sick CD arcs, making minetraps easier than any other ship I've tried. I am bad with 2.0 refire guns, but I've got 2 DEFILERS and 4 HEIMDALLS on my Bastet, and it works pretty well.
