Zoner - Order change and ID rules - sindroms - 02-03-2015 The "Happenings" and "LELKEK" reaction aside, what does exactly this change mean to the Order and Zoner ID. Even more so, what does this mean to the general gameplay in the Omicrons? Does it mean that by proxy, the BHG Core become the Zoner allies, since they are the only ones who can protect the bases they dock on now? What is going on, seriously. Speaking as somoene, who does not spend a lot of time around Delta and all. RE: Zoner - Order change and ID rules - WesternPeregrine - 02-03-2015 Guess who has a reason to keep their cap ships now? Really Order, facing Marduks and Nephilins? Where will the Order get its supplies now (Blood Dragons? ![]() Who knows if the Core will fill in as a allied defender now. Could well be the AI too. Do the zoners have a line that says "can attack hostiles in systems that have a zoner station" or something similar? Does the Order have lines that allow to engage their common enemies freely (other than nomads)? Will the zoners be added to that group now? RE: Zoner - Order change and ID rules - Fluffyball - 02-03-2015 I daresay this is the dumbest decision ever, because it not only affects official factions, but also indies, who will be surprised with The Order battleship to the face (Zoners) or unability to land anywhere (The Order) to continue their RP. Not to mention this decision, instead of solving hostilities, will only increase these hostilities, both ooRP and inRP, between factions and turns Zoners into assassins looking for The Order everywhere, what will be overused because of their ID. Good job. RE: Zoner - Order change and ID rules - tothebonezone - 02-03-2015 This was a poorly thought out decision. Yeah, sure, the all-mighty leaders of the official factions willed it. That's great. Too bad it was a very small group of Order players, whom of which their Primary ID should've been affected NOT the indies. Of either faction. RE: Zoner - Order change and ID rules - MÃmir - 02-03-2015 Well, a lot of Zoners are more or less guilty of the same crimes as the Order, so Core might as well shoot both ![]() RE: Zoner - Order change and ID rules - WesternPeregrine - 02-03-2015 (02-03-2015, 10:12 AM)Saronsen Wrote: This was a poorly thought out decision. Yeah, sure, the all-mighty leaders of the official factions willed it. That's great. One thing is Officials brushing aside the actions of indies that may be inconvenient for the faction as a whole, but can the indies be exempted from the actions of the Official faction, the one that has the duty to move their faction story ahead, and whose relations set the standard for the Order itself? If this wasn't discussed previously with both sides, it might be unpredictable what the reactions will be from each of the groups, but from the way the notice was written, it was the zoners who decided to declare the Order (all players) hostile, because of their official representatives. Edit: Reading from the intel of the posts, wouldn't the Phoenix and Order maintain at least a neutral relationship? RE: Zoner - Order change and ID rules - Sabru - 02-03-2015 Actually, the Zoner Officials didnt apply or expect this. So you can dispel any 'zoners asked for this' ideas. not that most of us dont like the result, but thats another kettle of fish. RE: Zoner - Order change and ID rules - Thyrzul - 02-03-2015 People were qqing about having no effect on their own lores. Admins gave out that power. Now people qq about having effect on their own lores. But instead of me qqing about "you can't please everybody" - damn, that would sound soooo... Adminish... - I'd rather remind all of you that with great power comes great responsibility. Want to alter the lore of your faction? Be responsible for the consequences then. Do not like a change? Blame the responsible ones.
RE: Zoner - Order change and ID rules - SMGSterlin - 02-03-2015 I for one welcome the change. Finally, the Zoners who have been wanting to pewpew for so long finally get their wish, and at the same time, the Order gets something new to shoot... Well actually, this has been going on for a while, now it's just properly reflected in the mod. Pushes activity to the Omicrons and away from Liberty, always a good thing. EDIT: @sabre, the official Zoners may not have wanted this, but those other Zoners, the loud ones who kept whining and complaining and trying to do non-Zonerish things, they did. Just goes to show, Majority doesn't matter, just whoever is loudest. RE: Zoner - Order change and ID rules - Fluffyball - 02-03-2015 Well. Zoner ID, right now, gives Zoner an upper hand, because they have right to attack every faction which is hostile to Zoners in the systems the Zoner base is in. Figure out the rest. I smell bunch of Zoner Assassins, lurking and waiting for The Order. |
