Sark Station to all respective mining factions in the Omega sector - Sark Station - 02-05-2015

I am Jonah Monah, current administrator of Sark Station. We are a Freelancer conglomerate that has just recently settled in the Omega sector.

After scouring neighboring systems for resources we have located large fields of Beryllium ore which we think can become a real money earner if this ore was sold on our station.

However being Freelancers we are not currently in a position to begin mining for ourselves since we neither possess the experience or equipment to carry out said mining operations required to extract the ore, the station does however have smelting facilities to process it once it has been brought in from the surrounding fields.

Management have thus decided that we will contract out the mining operations to bring the Beryllium ore in to an external mining company.

The proposed arrangement is that the mining company awarded the contract would be given living quarters and docking bays on Sark Station to house their families, ships and equipment. Said mining company would then go out and mine the Beryllium ore and deposit it on Sark Station.

Our smelters will then process the ore and ready it for shipment by local traders and haulers, who would purchase the ore from Sark Station at a fixed price.

Given the price of Beryllium Ore in New Berlin is currently set at 8.3k per unit on Dortmund Smelter and proximity of Sark Station to Rheinland Space we expect a high demand for this ore from traders returning to Rheinland from Bretonia.

Sark Station will set the price of processed Beryllium Ores at 2.5k per unit.

The mining faction awarded the contract to supply Sark with Beryllium would be given a 50% split on the profit made on all ores sold on Sark Station.

Mining Faction requirements:

Due to the locality of the base all activities conducted are strictly legal in their nature and thus not to upset local law enforcement we require any mining faction to be of legal status and not to harbor any known criminals.

The affiliation of any prospective mining faction is not important only that they be efficient in delivery of ores to the base, a quota of 50,000 units of Beryllium ore must be delivered daily.

If you feel your mining faction has what it takes to supply Sark Station with the ores then please fill out a form below:

Subject: Contract

good'day Jonah I am Micky and I have just recently found your ad looking for miners, well I can tell ya we can mine berryliums no problems mate.

We used to work em Omega 7 fields I think you know em but it got a bit dangerous there so we moved over Bret way.

Currently we are basing out of Cardiff in cambridge so we are really local to the Berrylium fields here. Looking over your requirements for Berrylium I would think 50,000 units is easily achievable day-to-day provided the price is right.

I have spoken to my boys and they would be happy to mine for Sark Station at a fixed rate of 3k per unit without requirements for any profit split on the ore Sark manages to sell as we would like to keep it simple.

However we would like to request living quarters on Sark Station for all our members!

If these terms are agreeable to you then we can begin operations immediately:

Faction Name - FreeMiner's Guild
Faction ID/IFF, Tag - IMG, FMG)
Size of workforce - 5 Union Members
Brief Summary of -WHY- your group should be given the mining contract- With over 50 years mining experience between our current members, no one can provide you with a more professional mining operation than the FMG.

All members are hard working and will deliver to any contract specifications, 100% Customer Guarantee.

Micky out.

Dear Sark Station owners.

My name is Tajima Rosenkov and I am CEO of the Rosenkov Technology. While not being particulary a mining faction, we can propose constant deliveries of our newest product connected with this venerable and hard profession, that is DB1-AR Drill Bit, a replacement for the drill bits available on the market. We can offer our product for 2100 SCr per unit (including import taxes and vessel maintenance fees), of course if you are interested.

This item would surely help your contractors to mine Berillium Ore more efficiently and would eventually bring big profits to all interested.

With the best regards,

Hello all sorry for the late reply,

Micky Miner / FMG I have gone over your counter-offer ($3,000 per unit - 50,000 units / day - Sark Living Quarters) of which the price and terms seem agreeable, FMG does indeed sound like a very professional miners collective and as such Sark Station is happy to award your group the contract.

Please note, given the Union nature of the FMG. Sark Station refuses to be held to ransom by any striking miners not happy with the conditions or pay.

I take it you have already gone over and agreed your counter-offer with your fellow members and there are no objections to it!? If at any time actions of any FMG Miner(s) cause disruption to the flow of business on Sark Station whether through Strikes, Riots or Slack of Work (reduced flow of ore into Sark).

Will result in you being held personally accountable and fines.

If these terms seem workable then we can begin with some test mines of the surrounding fields for Beryllium ores.

Regards, Jonah

Tajima Rosenkov / Rosenkov Technology

It is nice of you to think of us when looking for new buyers of your products, however having gone through your companies resume it seems you are Interspace Commerce (IC) affiliated and as such we question what such a major financial institution as yours is doing manufacturing drill-bits / other equipment. I thought you guys insure cargo, commerce and fund house economies? As a result of this I thus question the quality of the Drill-Bits that you 'supposedly' manufacture?

We currently source our Drill Bits from Tokai Shipping Platform which are manufactured by Samura Industries and are of high-quality.

So we respectfully decline your offer at this time!

Regards, Jonah.

Dear Sark Station owners.

I can understand the somekind of distrust, but do not worry about that.

Firstly, we use IC papers, because Interspace Commerce was our main funder as it was the reason for reasonable usage of their patronage. On the second matter, you should not be afraid, since it was a joint project between Rosenkov Technology and Ageira Innovations, thus you can be sure about top-notch quality of the product. And yes, product is plainly new, but initial Ageira tests were successful and we were given the green liight to introduce our DB1-AR into the commercial markets.

About the manufacturing, we have a "small" room on the Baltimore Shipyard, NY, where we manufacture these bits alongside with Ageira workers, yet the original and detailed blueprints cannot be accessed openly, due to the risk of corporate espionage - pretty understandable, I hope?

Should you contact Ageira Innovations, you would get the most reliable source of information regarding the high quality of the product. But I tell you one thing: it is not easy to impress Ageira, yet we somehow managed to succeed.

With the best regards,
