Wondering if anyone would want to help make a Maquis Faction - Sylvie557 - 02-13-2015
Been kinda thinking about starting up a Maquis Faction since it seems like a fairly interesting faction to RP as that can have some fun interactions with the more tame groups that oppose Gallia as well as the possibility or terrorist/pirating activity. I figured right now would be a good time since several Exile factions sprouted up recently which might in turn make Council and GRN be a bit more active as well.
I still got a lot of work to do if I go through with this so I am mainly wondering if anyone else wanted to try and help setting up stuff like the background lore and recruitment threads since I don't think I would want to get all that set up on my own. Post here or PM me if you are interested and we can start brainstorming, if nothing comes out of it no big deal but I thought it might be fun if others were interested.

The ELF would help economically. We are planning on aiding Maquis, Gaians and Golden Chrysantemums if any other group of players cares to revive any of them.

Yeah, I am definitely hoping to try and make some diplomatic ties with groups that the council might not associate with due to not approving of unlawful activities.

Once ELF gets more stable and I see how much time I have once I move, I'd probably join up.

As it stands now, the Gallic lawfuls (bar GRN) and especially the unlawfuls suffer from a very limited ZoI. Maquis, if I am right, cannot go beyond the Gallic borderworlds (and the Taus). If you could somehow manage to -expand- your ZoI, RP it out with factions that might have something to do with Maquis, you -might- generate some unlawful activity around Gallia. But I am not sure if you could actually do anything inside Gallia, besides popping up the rare transport or two that pass through there. Also, aren't the Maquis like, Xenos of Gallia? (can shoot everything?)
The brigands and Maquis are the two factions that have a very limited gameplay potential as of now, imo.

They are talking about ELF(Erisian Liberation Front) discordian pirates I think.
Yeah the Maquis have a fairly resctricted ZOI but I have a few ideas on stuff to do as well as some RP/politics oppurtunities. Not saying it will be easy or will even end up working out but I think there is some potential.

Once, maybe a year ago or so, there was an un-official Maquis faction [HdR] flying around.
Now it seems to be that I am the only one left who flies under this banner.
And yes I am still intrested to fly like a Maquis.

Well I was in an old Maquis faction /M/, made by Pammy I think, that is inactive now, and I have a Council Bomber with Maquis ID and IFF so if you want to make one or something pm me, maybe I can help you.
