RE: ModDB Feedback/Updates Page - TheJarl - 03-30-2015

Since this is also supposed to be for feedback I'll give you some. The new videos and images and all that are of course great. However I think a much higher priority would be fixing that which people see first when they go to the page. Currently when you go to Disco's ModDB page the first thing you see is a lengthy piece about the release of... 4.87. It would be better of course to have that always updated to the current major release (so 4.88, not per se 4.88.1)

Similarly the latest news directly underneath that shows a piece from 2012. I can imagine that somebody would see that I think this mod isn't being updated any more. Only when they scroll beyond the outdated overview and outdated news section will they find the current version of the mod.

Other than that, Keep up the good work. Beautiful images and videos! Some of those really show how great Disco can be.

You raise a good point, and it's something I'm hoping to fix. I'm going to be making a list of things I think should go on the front page, and discussing this with @Snoopy and @King Boo, and getting their opinions and views on it. As soon as I have posting permissions to the ModDB page, I'll make a new news post. Thanks again for bringing this up!

Edit: That was on our to do list but things have been rather slow recently. It will be done and hopefully soon ~Snoopy

Why is it none of my images were put up? I think they are good quality and definitely some of the better submissions.....

There are a lot of submissions and we are slowly getting though them all. Don't feel offended because yours hasn't been added yet.

Just a slight update on the ModDB page. Things have been going a little bit too slow recently and we hope to pick that up with our new member, @Cashew. He'll be helping us where ever we need it, kinda like our own slave. Expect a few more uploads to be coming shortly!
