Buona sera,

My name is Sabina Venneri and I am contacting you today on behalf of the Crimson Cross, a Maltese holy order. We would like to clear up some confusion regarding Freeport 11’s No-Fire Zone. A recent encounter with a pilot working for The Core outside of Freeport 11 has brought to our attention that there might be no NFZ around that particular Freeport. This lead me to ask some of the staff onboard Freeport 11 to determine if the Core pilot was correct in his claim but it seems like several recent shifts in the station’s administration have left the entire situation a bit fuzzy on the details. From what I could gather, Pheonix until recently controlled Freeport 11 and their assigned administrator had removed the NFZ rule for that station. However, now that Pheonix has decided to leave Sirius the Confederation of Freeports have stepped in to bring Freeport 11 back into the fold. I would like to confirm that the Confederation of Freeports is back in charge of Freeport 11 and have a definitive answer on whether the NFZ has been reinstated or not.

We would also like to take this time to assure you that the Crimson Cross is not currently looking for trouble within Omicron Delta and are only performing exploratory operations at this time. Despite the fact that we know we are not well liked by a lot of the factions down there, we would like to assure you we will respect the rules of Freeport 11 NFZ if it is indeed reinstated.

Dear Captain Sabina

I would like to thank you for your report and assure you that yes, the Confederation has indeed reinstated the No-Fire-Zone with the same stipulations as there are for other Zoner installations. Enforcement of the No-Fire-Zone, however, is currently determined on a case by case announcement (Which will be changing shortly after the sending of this message) as the announcement of the Confederation did not explicitly state that the No-Fire-Zone would be in effect and therefore it is entirely possible that the pilot was unaware.

In light of this the Confederation will be re-announcing it’s laws and explicitly stating where the No-Fire-Zone applies and any additional stipulations on those laws.

James Church
