Was in Game today the server went offline closed all the game screens and launcher screen
Later opened the launcher again there was a new patch
Patched the game tried to login shows base that im docked on then kick me back to server selection with error message cannot connect to server
Uninstalled freelancer and Discovery add on from scratch
patched the game
Login
Get kicked to server selection screen
none of my accounts can log in

yeah.. something similar here too. tried login from my laptop 2x times without success... I know what will happen if ill try log in more times, so cleared id fresh.. trying find solution.. hmm what is causing this in this time.. They realyy shold test these patches on fresh installed pc first.. also there isnt any AV logs, so this isnt AV.

Ah! So it isn't just me having the problem.
Have checked my AV and it says it hasn't quarantined any files, so no idea what the issue is.

mine at the beginnings says it misses a few *.dll files and they continues!!! and then ... all fine and get kicked!!

lol now i'm banned
and even despite i put the d3dx9_43.dll , in the windows32 folder, it still says it still missing!! and i tried with another account and still not working!!edit: now one account works but other is banned!

Ok patched game at home pc is working just did a first login weird kick then after that worked fine
I think for some reason my Work Laptop got blocked while doing that the patch thing
and now cant log in even after doing complete fresh install.
Uninstalled everything freelancer related
Cleared registry by uninstalling Vanilla FL
Reinstall from scratch as per Downloads instructions
Made sure that all install directories is excluded from virus scan
install discovery mod
Patch game through launcher
Launch Game
Any account get kicked back to server selection screen
i believe some admin intervention needed there but not at work now
