RP8 is Digital Anvil libraries if I remember right. Something isn't installed right.
Be that your normal Freelancer, or Discovery Freelancer mod. I'd re-install both of them and try again, you shouldn't have the crash anymore.

Did as you said, uninstalled/reinstalled everything (but didn't click that box that said "also delete save data, etc.), still crashed. Report below:

Yeah, just incase anyone else gets this issue...

Can't really believe it was the last thing I thought of trying but installing the game without Bloom fixed it completely. Not sure why Bloom suddenly became faulty for me and some others clearly, but not installing it resolves this nvd3dum.dll error.
